  1. Hi, Do metro apps have an issue with proxies at the moment? They wouldn't work using the IE settings. I had to use netsh to set a proxy to get metro apps to work
  2. No tried yet but I'll have a play with this next week. P.S. I'm not deploying windows 8, just curious to see if it will work.
  3. Hi, Yes on ours it shows both KMS and MAK keys for windows 8. Installed win8 on my laptop this morning. Starting to like it more now I've got my start screen organised.
  4. Wow, pretty cool. A really neat, processional job too. Might have a go myself.
  5. I've just been on and looked and Windows 8 and enterprise are available to download via the licensing portal thingy.
  6. From Windows 8 has reached the RTM milestone So is that one just a preview rather than RTM?
  7. Anyone know what time it will be available to customers with software assurance? It's supposed to be sometime today I think.
  8. Hi, Not amazing, but might do. If you want a vector let me know. Thanks, Dan
  9. I'd love to go. Doubt I'd have the ££ to go though. Disney land should be an easy sell to the Mrs though
  10. Yes! 1.3 looks a good update. especially for adventure map creators. With books and trip wires etc I may even have a go at making one.
  11. I've also tried copying the source to my own web server. Calculating the sum and pre-entering the value into the html. It recognises the correct answer but it still not fast enough, even though it's page load -> click submit. I've only tried with html, the original is a perl script so I'm guessing it notes the time before displaying the html to the browser. I have a feeling the calculation is irrelevant (or at least in human terms).
  12. I've not done it, not fast enough. I don't think a calculator is going to help though.
  13. "Just presses caps lock and walks away" 80% of password issues solved by this.
  14. It's always in the holidays so no one around to appreciate me
  15. This is what I did a couple of weeks ago. ~£450 for the laptop and separate SSD.
  16. The thing that spoiled back to earth was the lack of an audience and laughter track. I believe they've got an audience this time around. I also didn't like all the CG effects and prefer a real set. As long as both those points are ok I think, for me, it will be worth a watch. Dan, PS as a die hard dwarf fan I'll be watching it anyway.
  17. Buildcraft and industrialcraft are my favorite two. I like to automate everything I can.
  18. I've just recently made one. It's nothing fancy and is designed to be on a display in our reception area for all to see. It has a simple edit page to just add points (we don't take away points here). It displays the points for that week but you can enter week numbers to search between. No documentation really but the code is commented. It uses PHP and mysql.
  19. We got our Ruckus from @CPLTD it's dead easy to set up and Chris and Mark from CP were great price wise.
  20. I use papercut print logger here which I think is great. I'd love to use the full product, but there just isn't the backing from staff to limit/charge for printing. Maybe this is what the OP doubts? I doubt our school could use it successfully.
  21. Hi, How's this? Not sure if it's exactly what you're after but it may be something to start from. It basically scans the print log and SUMIF for each user. Then a simple SUM to work out pages for each dept. Hope it helps. cost_calc.xlsx
  22. Fixes it with magic too. *amazing*
  23. Here I help with a Tech based after school club, as well as doing small group lessons on scratch. There's always a teacher present whenever I'm 'teaching'.
