    Saw this at VMworld this year. Was interesting There was a good presentation (TA3105) on "Long distance vMotion" by VMware which raised a few eyebrows. It might be worth a look.

    There are loads of externat HDs around. Just shop around for a good one. IT resellers are usually on your side when they sell to you because they want continued business.

    It currently doesn't support ESXi, however it is on the roadmap for future development.

    There are loads of ways to do backups. VDR comes with vSphere I believe. esXpress has just been released in a new version which makes use of the new changed block tracking feature.

    Yep.. have to agree with a lot of these posts. If you have not cable to plug the TV into the ariel socket and the TV is not tuned into any channels they cannot do jack!

    You virtualised the world! Can you vmotion between countries?

    You can poke them out from inside the case with a fine piece of wire. Alternativly I've done this before with a metal rod and some super glue.

    I had an issue like this. Most PSUs will fit any motherboard although there will be some spare jack in some cases

    Sounds like a driver error. The wireless connection is not being reset when the laptop wakes.

    Yup. Most have been discontinued. Although if you are running ESX as well as ESXi I guess you could vMotion across and backup on ESX and then move back to ESXi. esXpress definitly has the capability to do this.

    Naming them personal names helps. You remember them more easily!

Car needs new bushels (not happy about that one) 4.) 30th Birthday trip to Vegas 5.) Lots of software development projects That's the top 5 although not necessarily in that order! Oh if anyone wants a demo of esXpress Virtual Backup pls let me know! I'm doing tons anyway

    Some hosts only allow you to point an a different MX server with their intervention. I've had to get the support guys to point to a MX server other than theirs several times. Best bet is to contact your host.

    Check you are not clearing the history each time you shut-down. Also try bookmarking all your frequently visited sites. They should show up then.

    Headphones are a better all round solution, but introduce the problem that some can go missing. As elsiegee40 said the best option is monitors with speakers and a headphone minijack.

    This was what sprung to mind for me. Google Earth allows location and info tagging.
