    The people at Xtravirt have a huge knowledge directory which might be helpful with this. White papers etc.

    vSphere 4 (an extention of the previous generation VMware platform VMware Infrastructure 3) has been annouced today. Some nice features too but it's not available to get your paws on for a month so the wait continues

    According to my sources ESXi support is slated for version 4 of esXpress. ESX 4 (announced today) still has a service console though so you could get round your issues.
