Agree with tmcd35. Copy the sysprep folder to the root of you C:\ drive then run it, take the image from the machine and when you roll it out to the rest of your machines it will change the SIDs when you boot them for the first time. You will also be prompted to rename your machines.

Hmmm. Monterey Jack. Even hearing the words makes my eldest feel ill. On a serious note, I've always enjoyed eating out in the States. There's a huge variety of stuff out there reflecting the mix of cultures, though they could do with reducing the portions. Once had a "breakfast" chilli in Santa Barbara which went down very well despite it being before 07:00 am (though it could have had more to do with my still being on GB time).

A few years ago when my sister lived in the States we went to visit her and sat in a restaurant on the banks of the Ohio River. I always like to eat at least one burger when I'm over there, but was put off ordering the chilli burger by my sister. I soon found out why. At a nearby table a customer had ordered on of these, and when it arrived it just looked like a huge chilli surrounded by rice, but as I watched him work his way through the chilli I saw that he eventually uncovered a large bun with a burger in it.

Perhaps I should have added, "If you haven't got a VLE..."

As SimpleSi says, you can use it for different groups to access documents; governors' & PTA minutes that sort of thing. Staff received a notice in our (electronic) bulletin this Friday saying how much the cost of A4 & A3 paper had risen recently, and to only print out what was absolutely essential.

Having trouble accessing several posts this morning. Whether logged in or not I get the message, "Sorry, you do not have permission to access these posts" The posts are those to do with Family shield and Watch out America. It turns out that I can access them from the front page.

Just noticed that the title bar of my Firefox browser seems to have been translated into a foreign language. Any ideas why this might be? (Just realized that I've written Google rather than Firefox in the title - is it possible to change this?) It looks like it may be an extension, but which one will have to wait until I get home from work.

Unfortunately, the page I need to capture is password protected, so I only capture the login page.

I need to capture a whole web page rather than the screen, and have tried searching on here but can't find the post i'm looking for. So, does anyone know of any (free) software which will do this for me?

The current total IT technician funding at our school wouldn't cover the cost of the Practitioner course for one technician, but if you felt that this course would increase "productivity", it may help tip the scales in favour of some extra funding (though times are hard) for at least one of us to benefit from it.

If you don't mind me asking, is the school paying or are you funding this yourself?

I recently saw a job description for a post at a private school where it was stipulated that the network had to be supported 24/7, 365 days a year. As I work in the state sector I don't know if this is the norm, but wouldn't be surprised.

My daughter's friend invited us all up to the local last night to watch the England - USA match, so we had a stroll up there in the evening sunshine. We all got settled in with about 10 minutes to kick off when a young lady in an England shirt came over to me and said, "Hello Mr. R. how are you? Alright?" I guessed she was between 20-25 years old, and I hadn't a clue who she was, so I just played along (in case it turned out I did know who it was). So I said I was fine, looking forward to the match, and how was she? She rattled on about the previous World Cup and then pointing to the three women on my left said, "Are these your daughters?" So I replied that the one in the middle was, the one on the left was my wife (I'm not above scoring cheap points) and the one on the right was my daughter's friend, then everything became muffled, and I had a strange feeling that if I looked down I'd see that I was wearing pyjama bottoms, and the backs of my hands would be wrinkled and mottled with age spots. I realized that I was actually in a care home somewhere, drifting away on a stream of memories from back in 2010, and this young lady was the nurse come to give me my tablets or something. I heard her voice coming back into focus and asked her to repeat what she'd just said. "I'll see you when you come in for your next haircut then"

But surely, if that's what torledo and the others here want to do, then in their eyes it's not a waste of time. We're not all made the same and that's what makes life interesting/bearable. I find F1 unfathomable, as in my eyes it's just some blokes driving round in a circle for a couple of hours, but I'm not going to tell those who like it that they're wasting their time. It's a big world and there's room for everybody. For those who don't like football, lighten up, find something else to do which appeals to you, unless of course what appeals to you lies in the fact of you telling others what you feel they should be doing.
