I have a man to do that for me.

Both daughters will have finished at university in 18 months or so, and my wife and I have decided to do the Canadian Rockies by rail towards the end of Summer 2012. Has anyone done this and have any recommendations/things to watch out for?

I've come across this - Using Moodle: Moodle Hack: Site-wide Groups but haven't tried it out myself.

In the admin panel of your Joomla site, select Menus>Main Menu (or whichever section contains your Home page) then select the Home menu item itself. On the right side of the page you'll see Parameters (Basic) and the top item should read #Leading, change the number in the box to something like 10. HTH.

The problem may lie with FCK Editor in Joomla. I created a Moodle login on our front page, but first had to disable the editor. Login to the admin side of your website and go to Site>Global Configuration, and in Site Settings where it says Default WYSIWYG Editor, select Editor-No Editor. Once you have input your code and saved the changes you can then undo the changes you made to editor selection. HTH.

I think it is in the region of £5K. You can attempt the course in 12-18 months, but you'd have to be doing it full time to achieve that. I was given a timescale of 60 months, which would take me very close to retirement age myself, and I'm not sure if I could handle the stress again.

Just been pointed in this direction by a member of staff The Liverpool Telescope Looks quite a useful site once the school is registered.

Now that you have some time on your hands, why not try MSc in E-learning at the University of Edinburgh ? Have a long(?) & happy retirement.
