I normally only handle servers and now I am back to dealing with desktops again and I am doing imaging with Ghost.
I have my master image ready of XP Pro and will be pushing it to my clients. All I need to do on my clients is worry about getting a new SID. I have a small amount of clients and will handle the local settings upself after the image rather than via sysprep.
So, when exactly do I run sysprep to regenerate the SID?
If I run it after the image is pushed and then it reboots the client being imaged and takes me through the setup can I be assumed that I am okay?
I really want to keep this as simple as possible.
