Yes I have the 2003 Disks.. I have Metro and Echo on the Application Server and both of them are down..... Echo uses a diffrent database than Metro so reinstalling Metro won't sort the problem out.. I cannot start the Default Web Site in IIS..

Hi Our Metro Electro and Echo are dead.. Heinemann were trying to tell me it was DNS untill I saw in the IIS snap in that the Default Web Site was stopped I tried to start the Default Web Site and I got an error "The process cannot access the files because it is being used by another process" Now I am stummped.. Did research on the net Ran net stat -ano and nothing is using port 80 or 443 followed the instructions in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/890015/en-us But there was no ListenOnlyList in the registry under Parameters I have these errors in the Event Log when I try to start the Default Web Site Event Type: Error Event Source: HTTP Event Category: None Event ID: 15005 Date: 29/01/2008 Time: 17:56:33 User: N/A Computer: SERVER Description: Unable to bind to the underlying transport for 0.0.0.0:443. Well in thier post in June last year they say that it's Free and Open Source... so after some of us downloaded it and fed back to them about how to make it better... within 6 months they have gone back on their word and started charging... I feel used.. Plus you can only by with a Credit Card or Paypal... now 90% of Schools use a Purchase Order or Pro Forma Invoice.. not pay pay or Google Pay..

I think you have gone back on your word as it seems to be not free anymore...

Well it sorta worked... used this command and it removed the mappings... BUT the mappings that shold have been thare and were is the script were not there ... my computer was empty! any ideas ? (Yes I did leave the mappings in unsed the delete line)

Is there a way of installing Command Consol after you have rolled out the boxes ?

OK.. in our School only 2 people have the Administrator Password.. that's me the ICT Manager and the Head Teacher... even the HOD does not have anything above staff access to the site PC's... Don't worry about little things like copied CD's worry about the bigger things of being in charge of you network...

(like moving a printer or replacing a vandalised mouse or keyboard) No Photocopiers, No Phones, No AV setups, No After Hours, No Weekends, No research, No Helping Teachers in Classrooms (hand holding)
