looks good but do you know 15 pin vga is 10 + 11 shorted to the same wire or would you use 2 wires ?? also still need to know about the interferince blocks on it

by any chance this is not a dell is it as i have found the same problem the setting i found are on the deskop context menu if it is pm me as i have got the intel mod script to get rid of it.

help needed here i have never had to do this befor i need to make up 8 2' leads this is where the problem comes 1) need a basic pinout diagram so i can solder lead we have about 20 meters of old vga cable so i will be using that. 2) is what is the rule of thumb ref. the magnetic lumps(interferince module) on it will i need one at each end ore will one surfice. i hope someone can help as this is a money saving idea as to buy they will cost about £7 each where to make them will cost £2 each thats with 1 interferince module

This being the first time i have been to bett i would like to know what people thought of it. i have my own opinion. but i have to look at it from two perspectives. I thought it was good except all the walking. and i found there were two types of stands the ones that attract naturaly (eather due to name or reputation) and then there were what i would like to call the beggers. they basicly pulled you by the short and curleys for you to look at there product. had a few of these one of which i let happen and after i got a drink and a sit down for bout five mins i then told them i was a ict tech not a teacher and we were in a primary not secondry school which is what they were aimed at. lol should have seen the look on there faces as i walked away with bottle of water and sweet lol.

yep it did but i had nowhere else to put it all ( next time i am brining a rucksac i only got one stress ball but i think my bargan was the board pen i nearly got two but then he decided he needed it.

p45 i must have missed that stand lol i need a hair cut (i got bett on the brain)and my feet were ok but my knees were really sore lots of drugs taken but hay thats life. i had to give lowdown as i was the only one from my school (aaaahhhhhhhhh)

i think i win the comp for the most freebies: 3 * 256 pen drives 1 * bbc/jam cup 1 * bbc/jam bag (and been told they want a visit) 1 * promethin board pen ( all ours keep breaking so had a winge) 15 bottles of water and a bit of cake sandwich of my choice ( someone wanted to know was i ok working as a tech being disabled) he thought he upset me when i told him it was my knees not my brain (stonger words were used) so got dinner. i also got lots of other rubbish i had the problem that i had to keep sitting down and when i did they fillen my bag. maneged to fill big ramsys bag and bbc bag. i did get to see the guys at the stand and have already looked into vmware also putting my foot down during half term ie they are loosing the server. Next year have already been told i am going lol and also benn told next time i can say for the duration woo hoo. oh and by the way the only stand i did not get a freebie of silly mags was the coolest and most helpful stand of all cant remember the name of it but it was g89 very friendly and helpful

this sounds about right it also depends how damaged the plates are if the are scrached by the heads. its harder the more damage. someone i know does it but cant do it for a busness as he is employed to do this as well as other things and the equipment he has got is out of this world its one of the reasons they employed him as well as other stuff he says on a good drive it can take up to 2 weeks for a small drive depending on the damage hence the price they usuall charge per gb so he says.

what a trying to do it i have got a web page on a cdrom which links to all the pdf files on the cdrom it all works fine the problem i have is that there are some zip folders which they can copy and paste to wherever they like with flipcharts in. what i whan to be able to do is for the to click a link on the webpage and it will open the root dir of the said cdrom for the to browse and copy file to there home pc. sorry if i did not make it clear enough only had two hours to do this but have manage to get more ttime. its just at the moment they click the cd rom and the autorun file runs and the get the web page. ( i have told them to right click and goto explore but they keep forgetting)

ok i know this probly dont live here but here goes. i have created a simple cd for some teachers. its all works fine i just have one problem there are some zip files which they can copy if they want and i need to create a explore c hyperlink any idears please not good at that type of stuff. can do it to a file. i just ned it to open explore on cd letter (problem i have is diffrent computers have diffrent letters for cd rom)

i know thats what i did in the end i was converted play it all the time also online my faverate is double agent but looking at getting rainbow six

a lot of the new game are not designed to use a single graphics card you would be good to go with crosfire or sli etheir that or you will need to lower your settings most of these game are disgned for a console this one is a 360 game and as these are disigned for games ie to build a machine that compares to a 30 you would be forking out in the reagion of £2500 my advice is if you want to play game buy a console but i will admit stragic planning and some game are better on a pc.

ok but when you deploy via gpo which is what i did it would not install even if i logged on as a administrator. so i stll have not found out what the problem is i will try the new version perhaps that might work.(by the way not getting them to do my job for me just som help would be nice by the people who make the product.)

can i just say i have never tried wow or second life but have heard of them but i do play a little game called puzzle pirates hence the the spinning pirate to you left. i find it really good friendly and fun to play i even have my own crew on one of the oceans called midnight. i know it silly little game like tetrus and puzzle bubble and other types as well but it is fun and it i getting bigger. http://www.puzzlepirates.com/ it is java based but very well done.

or you can write a visual basic formula i did used to know how to do it but it has been a while will look in the old books if you like

ip setup in schools esp is not the easyist thing in the world some of the problems we have with ip setups you would not even get on most networks. like we are on swgfl so get issued ip addys and sometimes you can use *.*.*.1 dont ask why it dont work all the time. and as we are on there routers its diffrent but if you ask a few basic questions like you got cric on 10.122.81.1-126 and admin on 10 122.81.127 up andmin can see cric but cric cant see admin what subnets should you use ( apperently answer is set cric sub to 255-255-255-128 and admin on 255-255-255-0) but dont quote me on that ) that was one of my interview questions.

a friend told me once that the hardest thing for a tech to fix is a simple problem IE i had a phone call asking me to help with a pc it would not switch on tested psu changed it and it still did not work i laughed as the problem was the fuse in the plug had blown once changed both psu worked but fuses can be funny things has anyone heard of a lazy fuse. ( its a fuse that has blown but not totally so still lets a little bit of current. but not enough to power anything). can be bad as a basic circuit will not see the break need somthing like a megga. have seen loads of these happens a lot in cheap fuses.

one thing i will say about this i the shockwave deployment dont work and adobe will not tell you how to do it as it breaches secuarty ?? anyone intrested say and i will post the email they sent.
