Filled out a contact form. Now i'm wondering what the best way to go about getting YouTube premium is, since it can't be managed via Workspace. I'd also assume we will need two licences for our two teachers. Does anyone else have YouTube premium & how did you go about it?

I've just done some reading & I don't believe you can even manage YouTube Premium via Workspace. My concern was we don't even have the free edu licence which allows the basic functonality of creating users etc We have no subscriptions listed, reckon I need to get in touch with someone at google?

Someone help me out here (google noob) We have a few staff members which would like youtube premium (for music/digital media lessons). We don't use any google services as we're a full microsoft school, however historically we do have a google tenant setup under our domain name. I've recovered admin access to this. I'm unable to add any users - correct me if i'm wrong but I thought that the basics on google edu were free of charge? It's asking me to add licences before I can create any users.

I suspect there will be a GPO trying to apply & it is timing out, causing the long wait. I've had it before with a printer GPO causing a 5min+ login Have you turned on verbose & tested?

This is kind of hard to gauge, what group policies do you have applying at login currently? enable verbose so you can see exactly what is causing the long login times This is a good start, gets rid of the blue splash screen on first login/creation of user profile

I've just tested this on a Windows 11 24H2 machine - command not recognised. Quick google search shows others are reporting "systemreset.exe" is missing from 24H2

are dynamic updates enabled on zone? What do you get if you run nslookup on the client having the problem - expected result?

Are both servers plugged into the same UPS? How old is the UPS? As above, are you able to check logs on the UPS?

Same here. Printing working with no issues. Admin pages slow to navigate. Thought it was just me so ignored it! Windows server 2016 VM 4 CPU cores 16GB memory

Trying here as got no response on Reddit & using the free version so no support Setup Action1, followed Firewall Configuration | Documentation | Action1 , deployed agent to end user devices. We've had the same issue. We now do something similar to what 3s-gtech said. I re formatted all of our policies because they were a right mess. Took over a week & a half to sort them all, among still doing my normal duties.

I think the 423+ will be a good option for us then. We don't need a 10GbE port & if we go for x4 10TB drives that will give us plenty of storage with RAID5. Sticking with synology sounds like a plan

Anyone recommend something to replace our Synology DS418? Wanting something that we can use to backup various o365 sharepoint sites/teams with + local VM's. Cant do o365 with the current box we have, think they dropped support 2 years ago. Was thinking about getting a DS423+ , or DS620slim for the 2 extra drive slots for future proofing.

You can also add them with an iphone with the AC2 app, done it here when our supplier didn't add on a small amount of iPads we ordered.
