Morning Good People! Anyone have captive portal setup on Netsweeper using Azure\Entra authentication? I know this is relatively easy to setup with other filtering systems\ with on prem Active Directory but seem to be having some difficulties Cheers!

We've done 365 and Google, for 365 we used powershell\salamander to create accounts, mailboxes and groups, added and verified domains, used mover.io for OneDrive\SharePoint\mailboxes 23 tenancies to one but have not done cross tenancies

Do you know if that's Paxton10 or just the Net2 integration?

I've got 3 schools on Vericool for catering which uses Pebble trac for Arbor integration, and 1 on Liveregister with a direct API connection with Arbor. A little bit smaller scale but Liveregister have been rock solid for the last 5+ years we've used them and would recommend taking a look at them!

Would be interested in this for other related reasons, when I looked I saw conditional access and forced web sign in at the Windows login screen as a possible solution

We have discussed the same, how do you handle last minute cover where they arrive and need to teach straight away? (I know this is a school issue and not an IT one) - Do you have your scheduled tasks for account creation run more regularly? (currently our Salamander runs nightly)

Interesting thread! Have seen a few reports from our schools for this (chalked it up to general 365 issues) has anyone made the SSL policy change in Senso and seen it have a positive effect?

I'm sure Google support told me we can't use extended attribute with their new sync so I just got salamander to map the path to another supported field and it works fine and then changed as bjohnny42 mentioned in workspace

In Power BI? I believe RLS should still work with oData feeds - I add the roles and then add 365 groups to the roles 🙂

All good with our schools so far this morning, to be fair to them the comms have been better with this incident and have had meaningful replies. Thanks SBB for sorting this, our users are happy this morning and so am I 🙂

Inbound\outbound whitelist of domains and address book policies with some additional mail flow rules - as well as all of the usual mail filtering

So they still don't know what the cause is? After a week?

Left one trust who used them and had constant lightspeed issues, new trust was just moving to them. I could have cried 😂

Issues again this morning, last note on the portal was that they spent all of yesterday trying to find the issue and couldn't and were going to monitor today - hopefully the right people are looking at the issue and they fix it soon 😐

Interesting that it's always the third parties... weren't they saying the same about lightspeed a few years ago? 🤔
