We work with them but only for buying device licenses, that would be a hard no from me! Or yes on the compromise that they do it whilst remoted onto my machine so I can see what they do and then de-activate the superadmin after

Entra Joined Laptop - Block Logins from outside a trusted location

Would be interested in this for other related reasons, when I looked I saw conditional access and forced web sign in at the Windows login screen as a possible solution -
We have discussed the same, how do you handle last minute cover where they arrive and need to teach straight away? (I know this is a school issue and not an IT one) - Do you have your scheduled tasks for account creation run more regularly? (currently our Salamander runs nightly)

Interesting thread! Have seen a few reports from our schools for this (chalked it up to general 365 issues) has anyone made the SSL policy change in Senso and seen it have a positive effect?

In Power BI? I believe RLS should still work with oData feeds - I add the roles and then add 365 groups to the roles 🙂

All good with our schools so far this morning, to be fair to them the comms have been better with this incident and have had meaningful replies. Thanks SBB for sorting this, our users are happy this morning and so am I 🙂 -

Assume this issue links back to the firmware update applied on the 10th/11th referenced in these threads https://hub.talk-straight.com/client/statusportal/event/1203 & The Hub - Event Summary - Advisory What are the chances that someone hasn't read the change log on updates again? (not the first time this has happened with router firmware updates and routing issues\bgp) -

Left one trust who used them and had constant lightspeed issues, new trust was just moving to them. I could have cried 😂 -

Issues again this morning, last note on the portal was that they spent all of yesterday trying to find the issue and couldn't and were going to monitor today - hopefully the right people are looking at the issue and they fix it soon 😐 -

Interesting that it's always the third parties... weren't they saying the same about lightspeed a few years ago? 🤔 -

Anyone else having issues this morning? two sites down... -
Set this up recently when we moved our P10 server internal, only the server needs IPv6 so just had ISP enable IPv6 and then setup DHCPv6 on our Fortigate to route (or at least it works for us) Whilst it was easy to setup IPv6 did cause two of our ISP's to have a mini panic 😂

As an update in case anyone has a similar issue, the packets were leaving the pbx server as 5070 but when they were reaching the phones it was 5060 and then getting rejected by the handsets despite assurances from the ISP it turned out SIP ALG was enabled on the school's router, this has since been turned off and I'll be hopefully testing again soon. If the packets are still being to the phone as 5060 then I'll probably just change the ports on the pbx and phones to 5060 as there's no point trying to battle the ISP and no way of knowing they have actually done what they said they had.

Same for us and a neighbouring trust

Just in the process of setting up Workspace for our users, I'm using the directory sync beta but can't users to set OU by attribute - anyone mind sharing how they do it? To test I have "MATName/Users/School Code/Student" set in Entra set for "state or province" and the attribute in Google syncing to "State/Province" and have this set to the attribute for OU placement but It doesn't seem to pass simulation
