    I think the rule of thumb with GPUs is to pay as much as you can. Seems the 6650 is just better than a GeForce 3060 or equivalent. My daughter has a 1060 which still provides reasonable performance - it all depends on expectation! Intel are also about to introduce the Arc chipset too - whether these will show a competitive price drop I don't know. GPUs are in short supply, and high demand, both for gaming and mining!

    Only issue I've had with lockscreens not applying is the version of Windows - but we are using GPOs to set them. The GPOs for lockscreens are only supported in Education or Enterprise versions - it might be the same for your registry hack. Worth checking the version of W10 you are running against your W11 licence!

    The software seems to run on unsupported devices - whether that is without issues I'm not sure. Certainly those machines will have potential security exploits due to old, or no TPM and Spectre/Meltdown vulnerabilities of older CPUs. As a vendor and business, Microsoft possibly realise that they can't go on providing operating system software as an endless freebie and are now moving to the Apple model of forcing users to buy new hardware!

    What is the structure of your website under IIS? The default homepage and subsite pages of your website should be placed on the server under c:\inetpub\wwwroot Open up IIS Manager and select the "Default Web Site". Look at "Default Document" and make the highest priority document be your first page. Then using another PC, open Chrome or Edge and enter the URL // the page above should then be displayed?     Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2021 will be supported until 2027. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecycle/products/windows-10-enterprise-ltsc-2021 The issue then is, will all of your hardware be Windows 11 compatible? An issue for schools with hundreds of ageing machines. Gives you 5 years to make sure all machines at at least 8th Gen Intels, otherwise there's a risk running an OS that is not supported or receiving security updates ......

    Looking to move machines that are capable of Windows 11 soon as possible. As with Rob_D we have deployed a small set of test devices to staff and students and will look to iron out any issues with policies or software as we go along. Best to push the technology forward and equip students with the latest software where possible.     Insights Premium for Teams is now a paid-for product. I've been quoted £1.90/student/year - pretty expensive. Teachers can still install the app to their Teams client and receive data for their own classes - its still very useful. I've written a few PowerShell scripts that query Classes/Assignments/etc via GraphAPI and consolidate whole-school and other big data for use by SLT/Data. Happy to share if anyone is interested.

    Much the same to the above. We move users into an "Archive" OU in AD which is outside of the scope of AzureAD Sync and thus in Office365 the user is soft deleted. Soft deletion is useful as it gives some retention time where any account can be restored. Restoring a deleted O365 account where the AD account is outside the AzureAD scope will create a Cloud-Only user rather than a federated user. Documents on local file servers are retained. These are eventually archived out during our yearly routines to remove files from primary to secondary storage based upon last-accessed dates. Again, useful if any request for data is made after the deletion dates.

    Just a heads-up that we have come into an issue using Impero where Google Chrome's new(ish) guest mode (like Incognito Mode) disables the browser extension, thus if you have any specific PC-level controls (keywords, URL blocks, etc) they will not work. There's a Guest Mode GPO settings that can be altered: https://admx.help/?Category=Chrome&Policy=Google.Policies.Chrome::BrowserGuestModeEnabled It can also be disabled via Device Management via the Google Admin Console. Hope this is of use to someone.

    Microsoft have announced the availability of Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2021 - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/whats-new/ltsc/whats-new-windows-10-2021 - EoL for support is 2027 so it gives more time to upgrade estates to W11 compatible PCs.

    Microsoft have retired the ability to have a SharePoint site that is public. One option would be to add a generic user to your 365 tenancy and give this user access to the site - then hand these credentials to external guests - make sure it's permissions/groups are set correct so that the user only has access to that site.

    Why would it be needed? Wouldn't it be better to setup a SharePoint library with the required permissions?
