  1. hmm, would one of these be any good for you? https://www.amazon.co.uk/Splitter-Supports-Switcher-Compatible-Projector-Black/dp/B082Z3L4SN/ref=asc_df_B082Z3L4SN/?tag=&linkCode=df0&hvadid=394354479831&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=8002092194596397974&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1006884&hvtargid=pla-863481812568&ref=&adgrpid=80811964206&th=1 would save having to buy a cheap video card just to output hdmi
  2. never used the site but have been on to test, the site doesnt seem to be slow
  3. we use the Kyocera TASKalfa range, they're solid printers and if you have a support contract with kyocera the support engineers are great, usually out on the same day/next day after reporting any errors
  4. rows of benching facing a whiteboard probably the worst kind of setup, nearer the back kids will just look at monitors in rows ahead rather than the board. more standard approach ive seen over the last few years is having 2 rows of pcs down the middle and pcs along the outside the room. Also remove the whiteboard for a smart screen like c-touch instead
  5. second this, maybe run a ipconfig /flushdns & ipconfig /registerdns and then a gpupdate /force
  6. keyboard itself looks a right pain to replace , luckily none so far have broken! I have found this online: https://www.psaparts.co.uk/laptop-keyboard/hp/250-g7-keyboard--bvp8kr.html at that price though, could just issue a replacement usb keyboard and mouse to save money
  7. Yep we have this issue, we have no admin rights to the PC which hikvision software installed. All fun if something goes wrong with the system
  8. how soon are you leaving the devices before checking the policies have applied? We enrol ipads via ASM and intune. I've noticed that it could take over night for all policies on the iPads to push through
  9. Had this with a few users, ended up putting a shortcut to the local installer on their desktop and once ran it just loads downloads and runs teams ,doesnt take too long to download and run so users arent that effected. Could always use the web version too
  10. not bought any new for a while, tend to go with interative screens now rather than a projector and smartboard, especially in new rooms. Just easier to have a nice big touch tv using one HDMI cable compared to a projector and its wiring along with a smart board. Easier for the teacher too, no need to calibrate the board or have to called for clearing a filter / lamp replacement
  11. Hi Guys , We have one last PC running 1507:scared: ,which hasn't been updated as the PC has some niche software/drivers and doing a reimage to upgrade would be a huge hindrance to get it all back to what it was, just wondering if anyone knows how to update windows 10 LTSB 1507 to a newer version of windows and still be able to keep the files and apps. Currently when I try running any windows setup, be it 1607,1809,1903,1909, 20h2 but cannot keep files and apps 'because you are installing an edition of windows that's different than the one' have tried running windows updates and selecting the updates from microsoft however never pulls down the 1909 update. Does anyone know a way of doing an in place update and keeping the files and apps Many Thanks
  12. solution to this was to create a package rather than application in sccm and run the setup.exe for acrobat rather than the Creative Cloud setup.exe, when deploying have the package install from the distribution point rather than copy files to the C drive and run from there
  13. Hi All, Wondering if someone could help, we're trying to push out Adobe DC Pro (current version out of date) from SCCM and software centre. Have created and downloaded the package our adobe enterprise however the MSI will not install. Have tried running the setup.exe --silent as seen on other forums but doesn't install either, it shows as downloading on software centre but never reaches 100% even after 2 hours, can run the setup.exe manually and installs in a matter of minutes. Also tried pushing out DC from the web install(Acrobat_DC_Web_WWMUI.exe) and AcroRdrDC2100720099_en_US.exe however that doesn't allow users to sign into their accounts meaning theyre asked to start a free trail. Have seen many other people having issues pushing out Adobe DC, its becoming a nightmare. Any pointers please and thankyou! Thanks
  14. Hi All We're trialling the smoothwall visigo software alongside netsupport, whats the best way to push the client out through SCCM? Have tried pushing the MSI and using the installation program of: msiexec /i "\\ccmgmt03\ITS\APPS\Smoothwall\Visigo_1.5.2_x64.msi" ORGID='OUR ORG ID...' /q And have also tried pushing out using script installer with just the command to run said path however when trying to install just get the past due and doesn't install the software. The script works as when running it manually it installs the software and restarts, any pointers as to how to get this pushed out? Thankyou
  15. I hold some crypto and just have it to keep in long term. That £200 could end up at 200k or 20p, who knows! But definitely not a get rich quick thing, more accumulate and hold until the price is right. Stay away from meme coins and focus on more stable coins and shouldn't have any issues!
  16. so after all the digging , oddly enough, the same feature in onenote works just fine
  17. Hi Jools Did you manage to find a solution to this, having the same issue at the moment and the links from the tread are now outdated Cheers

  21. Inventry can sign visitors, staff and even students in, links with MIS too
  22. hey stumot, in my old place we had the same issues, turned out the smartboards we had were not supported as were too old we did manage to get some other models to work by updating the notebook software and installing the drivers that go along with it. as a test i think smartboard 30 day trail that can be downloaded for free Hope this helps

  24. we record lectures in teams, create a team for the classes and have the students and class teacher in the team. Record the meetings that way the team will automatically save the recordings in the team for the students to easily access
  25. depends how long the wifi you're upgrading to is going to be in there for, if you have the spends for it, may as well get wifi 6 to future proof rather than buying already aging devices
