Yes. This is done by Indian call scamming centres, as they are automating the whole process. They don't seem to realise mobile phones are not localised, so they are spoofing the numbers in the hope that you go "oh its local to me, must be legit" when in fact when it comes to mobile it's "oh that number is almost identical to mine, must be a scam"

CFS is known to be triggered by viral infections. If a side-effect of Covid is an increase in this, then we really, really, really should play this as cautiously as possible. Especially as CFS is known to disproprtionately affect the young, who've already spent 18 months being disproportionately affected by a virus that doesn't affect them as much as the old. They've given up months of their life to protect older people, and have been prioritised last virtually all of the way. If everyone else getting an injection helps protect them, until they can get jabs themselves (probably on the return of schools and colleges in September) then I do believe we should delay a few weeks to make sure we do so.

Except we can see that there are long term effects and yes they're very similar to CFS. If Covid is triggering this, particularly in the young, then we should try to be cautious to minimise any issues. We certainly seem to have a lot more CFS happening all of a sudden post Covid. Now, correlation doesn't necessarily equal causation, but when it comes to "after medical incident, this medical incident" then we can treat that correlation a bit differently to "after quasi-religious incantation, this medical incident". Remember, these are the same people that told us that schools were safe and weren't vectors of infection. They then closed the schools as vectors of infection after reopening them for one day. They then said that again, they weren't vectors they just reflected community transmission. Then the graphs repeatedly showed that coincindentally community transmission went down when schools were on termly or half-termly breaks and up again when they returned. The biggest age group for infection at the moment is 10-19, and then after that 30-39 which is, i'm sure completely coincidentally, the age group most likely to parent the biggest age group. Just a coincidence they say...

It isnt just about death though is it? Long Covid is a thing, that exists and could cause log jams in the NHS now, and for decades ahead. I'm still trying to figure out what people think that's still locked down that they can't wait for a few weeks more for. We're only keeping mass gatherings limited at the moment, everything else is available. I'm sorry, but you're absolutely wrong here. You cannot possibly compare such wildly different SKUs and then say that's a fair and equal comparison. Any auditor worth their salt would throw that idea right out the window. The Duet quoted is 128GB so the fair price comparison is the same sized device, using the first party equipment that Apple provides, compared to the first party equipment Lenovo provides, using the same pricing. In this case, I've used the RRP from the retailer for both. You can't use the Apple price for Education, with VAT removed and an EDU discount compare it to the Lenovo retail price! The fairest is to take the same pricing, in this case retail for both. Which in the case of the 128GB 8th Generation iPad WiFi with no accessories is £429.00 You can't go and cheat it by comparing a different, smaller capacity device and using third party equipment compared to first party equipment. That is NOT a fair price comparison in the slightest. To suggest otherwise is true disingenousness. Compare like-for-like.

Hi all, This is something I'm looking at right now for our Trust, and it seems to be a blind spot for a lot of schools and Trusts. How do you have your vault retention rules configured currently, and do you all have data retention policies that cover the configuration?

I have to admit I'm rather enjoying the nerds and geeks of Twitter melting down because they're putting the characters pronouns on the cast posts. They're also getting upset at Jenna Coleman's casting as Johanna Constantine as being "gender swapping". It's as if they have not actually read the source material! John doesn't appear till much later in The Sandman. Johanna is in it long before John appears. (Also, Matt Ryan is nowhere as good quality as the actors they're getting for this, so part of me hopes they recast it if they get that far, and don't try to bring him in)

Ahhh that's the thing though, Turner bought MGM in 1985 then sold it in 1986 and took most of the catalogue and franchises before selling it, so Man from UNCLE is owned by Warner Brothers/ATT/Discovery now. Gone with the Wind, Wizard of Oz, Fame etc... they'll all be on HBO Max in the US. I can see them going "Both? Both is good!" for something like Stargate. Introduce it back with a "2 hour special" if you will, and then TV to follow it up. They've made or at least distributed a few movies exclusively you know. Aeronauts, Peterloo, Without Remorse, Borat 2, Sound of Metal, Coming 2 America.

It seems like a lot of money for the number and type of franchises they've purchased themselves here. They don't really have control over Bond. The Broccoli's have always resisted spin-offs and TV shows and are insistent that it remains a cinema franchise. Stargate is ripe for reboots and remakes. It's been long enough now that they could remake the first film. Other than that I guess Robocop, Tomb Raider, Rocky rebooted (or continue Creed), Pink Panther, The Millennium Trilogy are there but it's not packed with big titles they can utilise.
