  1. As much as UHD is nice, I'll go with HD purely on the grounds that iPlayer is always behind and the noises from neighbours, plus watching it on a video stream with family means I can do without any delays!
  2. @Bromcom_Support would be the best people to ask.
  3. We use the SMTP relay service too, had no issues. Exactly how slugshead has suggested, you need to list the IPs from Bromcom.
  4. The TV adaptation is on Amazon Prime if anyone is interested https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/video/detail/amzn1.dv.gti.e2b0df6f-fb12-6ea1-9739-6cf20cec02c3?ref_=imdbref_tt_wbr_pvs_piv&tag=imdbtag_tt_wbr_pvs_piv-21&sa-no-redirect=1
  5. Well, every device might need a HD webcam (I'm sure its for Teams / Hello) but I don't think that stops laptop manufacturers building in physical security over the camera does it? Well, other than people not wanting a bulkier machine I suppose.
  6. So, as long as when a GDPR request comes along, he is happy for people to be given access to his email, I'm not entirely sure there is a legal stop to it, ultimately. He's not an employee after all. I'm sure that would be the legal loophole anyway. Absolutely whistleblowing protection for this.
  7. I mean, at this point why aren't you just getting Chromebooks? Android Apps, TPM security and encryption by default, trying to push web based apps up-front, Web browser based on Chromium... Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery I suppose! - - - Updated - - - Almost certainly upwards, rather than down though.
  8. Absolutely going to be a battle between two staff members! But yes, Tones is on the money. Take a look in the Drive Audit and see whats happening with the file.
  9. Yup. It's a security update. If there is a problem with a file, we can deal with it as it comes. Security comes first here, I'm afraid. I shall be leaving it alone. I'll let the automatic email on the 26th deal with communicating it to others.
  10. By default, any email threads that contain an external email should automatically be labelled External https://workspaceupdates.googleblog.com/2021/04/external-label-gmail.html Settings for this are here: https://admin.google.com/ac/apps/gmail/enduseraccess
  11. If they don't use that email address and it's not advertised, its incredibly unlikely to get spam. Gmail spam filters are the best around too. Certainly more likely to be spammed in an Exchange inbox!
  12. You could set an auto-forward on emails from your Gmail system to the respective user in Exchange using GAM https://github.com/jay0lee/GAM/wiki/ExamplesEmailSettings#forwarding or https://support.google.com/a/answer/2685650?hl=en
  13. If you're using Exchange for the same domain as you use for Google, you should still get notifications come through to your Exchange Server.
  14. Don't you want http://www.seti.org rather than The SETI League: Searching for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence ?
  15. Remote powerwash was announced recently. It hasn't been released as of yet, but it shouldn't be too far away!
  16. Probably, but if you just goto https://admin.google.com/ac/domains/manage and then add your domain, Google will do the work for you!
  17. Go to the "Domains" section in Google Admin, add your domain and it will feed you the instructions as to what to do.
  18. Have you got them setup already to remove the accounts on log out in your devices OU?
  19. You weren't kidding. How does one go about optioning the movie rights?
  20. Wow. I've just been reading this thread. I'm half way through, and this whole things is just WILD
  21. I have it centered (well not the start button, but the icons) but at the same time, i use ChromeOS most of the time anyway, so its a little more consistent that way for me.
  22. Isn't the Windows icon face on, the Microsoft logo?
  23. If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery ChromeOS and MacOS are full on blushing right now.
  24. Oh they're bound to go whacky. I've seen the suggestion that they're centering the start menu buttons ala ChromeOS and Mac (which I already do using TaskbarX myself) so there will be whacky. As the addage ever was - wait for the first Service Pack!
  25. iPhone 12 Mini is the closest size wise. https://www.phonearena.com/phones/size/Apple-iPhone-12-mini,Apple-iPhone-8/phones/11333,10408
