TechMonkey Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 I could be tempted by one of these
Rawns Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 You should have given it to a charity shop- someone would have loved that They are hideously awful things. IMO, I did the world a favor by removing one from existence. 1
JackCPickup Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! And yes! It's so very comfy in winter although I did originally buy it for a party
Robz Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 I've got a waterproof one for sailing. Does that count? I have a couple for diving....we'll say they count
Gibbo Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 These are just another step in this country becoming JeremyKyleLand.
DMcGuigan Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 I got a Tiger one from the mother last Christmas, apparently they were on sale, because she got my stepdad the same one. They ARE quite warm, and I have worn it a few times since, mainly for slinking around the house in on lazy days. I refused to be photographed wearing one though, it's like a safari on the off chance I do put it on, sneaking around the house trying to take pictures of me for the facetubes.
rad Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 I have a Woolly Bear too, also got a full wetsuit and drysuit, all in the style of "onsies" however made for a purpose. I have worn someone elses onsie for the school Book Day, however if one ends up from Santa, it will be from SWMBO!
HarryMonkey Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 I have a couple for diving....we'll say they count No we won't. I refuse to allow an undersuit to ever be counted as a onesie. I'll quite happily go in the pub in my Weezle following a day's diving. I would not be seen dead in a onesie.
tech_guy Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 I bet you any money Mattx has got a Father Xmas onesie...... 1
Sirbendy Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 One piece jammies covered in poppers? Me and the missus. Heh. You have to be a real man to carry off sheepie jammies!
X-13 Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 You have to be a real man to carry off sheepie jammies! A real man doesn't give a @$*#. Not a single one. Not even half of one.
HaleStorm Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 I have 4 Onesies, for different times of the year Skeleton for Halloween Elf for Christmas Tiger for well...being a tiger Monkey for New Years Eve fancy dress at the Rugby Club
rich_tech Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 dont think they make em in my size, still love my Jedi Knight bathrobe/dressing gown though that I had a few years back off my parents though
6Foot2 Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 My sister-in-law was visiting at the weekend. She said she thought that a onsie would be a nice Christmas present for me. I didn't pay it much heed at the time but having looked at the image posted I would take great pleasure in burning the said item [still in the Christmas paper] if I was given something quite so hideous! NO THANKS.
CAM Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 Onesie....such an old woman's term for the Kigurumi (or Kigu as they were called before cosplayer's mothers saw them and went "Ooooh a onesie!") EDIT: Also LOL at the Adwords, they are starting to peddle one-piece pyjamas.
X-13 Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 Onesie....such an old woman's term for the Kigurumi (or Kigu as they were called before cosplayer's mothers saw them and went "Ooooh a onesie!") Cosplay Hipster. The rarest of all the hipsters.
witch Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 I think they are just a bit of fun - and tbh as the mother of two uni students living in cold houses, I can at least be sure they are keeping warm in their onesies. My daughter wanted the animal print one but it didnt have a hood so I made her one, complete with ears! My son has a devil one - very appropriate in his case My older son wouldnt be seen dead in one, apparently!
plexer Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 Wouldn't be seen dead in one of them... That's a body bag you're thinking of. Ben 1
CAM Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 Cosplay Hipster. The rarest of all the hipsters. BRB buying check-pattern Kigu and a ticket to a 3D film just so I can pop the lenses out the glasses.
elsiegee40 Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 I bet you any money @Mattx has got a Father Xmas onesie...... With an Apple logo on it 1
TechMonkey Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 These are just another step in this country becoming JeremyKyleLand. Only if people go out in them. For lounging around at home, on your own I see no issue.
hardtailstar Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 not here, some girls look good in them but thats it.
