Is there an Edugeek stand this year? I've checked the BETT 2013 site Exhibitor Search page but cannot find edugeek listed.

Logo at top says B290 next to smoothwall :)

Hadn't bothered asking to go, but reading through all the BETT stuff I really don't want to miss it so I asked the Head and she practically begged me to go, almost forgot why I went to see her and tried to wriggle out of it :p

Coming to BETT tomorrow!

Meant to go for the past 5 years but always had something come up.

Will swing by the edugeek stand :) Any freebies this year? Mugs / pens etc?

I am still using the stationary bagged last year here in the office, take a bag as a precaution to put all the free stuff in :)

This is probably a silly question, but this'll be the first time I've gone to anything like BETT...

What sort of thing do people usually wear? Is it business dress (suit & tie), jeans & t-shirt or the much loved "smart casual"?

Sorted out the train to go down on Friday. Only thing is I get into London eye wateringly early so I was thinking of walking from canning town station to ExCel to waste time before it opens. I'm not that familiar with that part of London though does anybody know if there are plenty of paths round there? Sounds stupid but last time I was there I walked through Canary Wharf and got in a bit of a pickle when my planned route involved pole volting over some train tracks -.- If anyone sees a pink haired girl wondering about looking lost on Friday kindly point me in the right direction :D

Walking route from canning Town in this thread: http://www.edugeek.net/forums/bett-2013/107721-bett-2013-transport-arrangements-saturday.html

It's nice to stroll round Royal Dock and admire the view if it's not raining :)

I'll keep an eye out for you as I'll probably walk it too :)

@elsiegee40 I'm not sure which route I am going to walk on Saturday. May walk from Canning Town or West Silvertown. We could end up on the same train on Saturday morning

@stevehill06 I'm getting the 08:10 from Tonbridge with Witch and my 6'4" son (an easy group to spot)... we'll be in the back of the train so we can hop off at the right place for the underground exit at Waterloo East... I'm not sure if it's one of the Hastings trains :)

@elsiegee40 I'll be on a different train. I'm getting the 7.50 from Hastings. I'm getting off at London Bridge (9.35am) and getting tube from there to Canning Town. I'll be on my own this year

@stevehill06 You walk for miles at London Bridge. It's actually quicker to go to Waterloo East and then get the jubilee line from Southwark tube station which is underneath Waterloo East. Be in the back carriage of the train and you'll get off pretty close to the exit which takes you to the underground station :)

@elsiegee40 I never really thought about it that way. Think I will go to Waterloo East then! Thanks that tip! I'll see you on Saturday at some point anyway (I remember meeting you last year on the Edugeek stand).
