Not as such unless it's in the user settings page, But when a new member signs up they have the option to type in who referred them and this should show up on your account.

Hi,

Colin here from Wilmslow High School, job title ISS Manager but basically it translates to looking after anything with a plug on the end of it.

We are a large 11-16 secondary school with approximately 2000 students and over 800 desktops/laptops.

Server wise we are virtual using VMWare, mainly running Server 2008 with some linux boxes.

We are running SIMS.net on full MS SQL Server 2008, MS Exchange 2007, Smoothwall

Hey guys, im Tom age 21 from Wolverhampton and i'm pretty new to the whole tech life! I graduated from University last year in Computer science, during my studies I worked for a high street retailer selling computer games and electrical equipment until March 2010 when I began working in a very small computer services store in a rather rural location so business was fairly slow.

 

Since mid December 2010 I have been working part-time in Ludlow school and began full time employment this year. With no previous experience in the area and taking over from a previous technician who didn't leave much in terms of documentation the friendly network administrator has guided me and teaching me well.

 

Everyone here seems incredibly knowledgeable so don't be surprised if I ask lots of questions

Done most things IT over the last 30 years, internationally, public and private sectors including programing, systems design, helpdesk, project manager but I finally turned to the dark side and am now the network administrator and general fix it guy for a small school (primary and secondary) in south west Scotland.

 

Why the user name spoons? Well I have been active in war memorials and war graves forums for a few years so that is my online persona, but I'm Paul to those that know me

Hello I'm new around here. I am a thirty-something and I work as a school's ICT techncian and drive an Alfa Romeo (hence the username - but I don't fix Alfas). I have been working for a secondary school in North East Somerset for just over a year now. I have well over 10 years of commercial techncial experience and have worked for Devon County Council, NHS, an Internet ISP, and many other companies. I recently graduated from university and now I'm really enjoying working within an educational environment. I have just about got to grips with some new technology (well new to me) namely VLE's (Kaleidos/Merlin) and SIMS, and I am generally adept in the ways 'n workings of Windows (servers 'n workstations). So I am really glad to have found a forum which directly relates to what I do. Hooray for EduGeek.

Hi Guys, I'm Danny, 18 and from the North West, just outside of Manchester! I work for an IT Provider for Education as an Account Manager at the moment!

 

I have a few technicial qualifications myself and looking to learn much more, as well as giving my opinions and contributing to the forum!
