I have a lifetime subscription to TechBabe Monthly, the articles are very detailed and quite informative, the readers letters section often has many useful solutions to problems and the whole magazine is well presented with the boon of nonstick pages

I was waiting for that...

And me

Jake, I know you are in your cage coz I can see you but if this sort of behaviour continues I shall have to think about some sort of sound/post proofing

Or at the very least I shall throw a blanket over the cage to see if it quietens you down!

Like jake I have a lifetime subscription to Techno-Pr0n Monthly and this month we see an Nvidia 8800GTX bare without its heatsink and fan on the centre pages!

oooh! ooooh! My white thermal paste is squirting everywhere! ooooh! Oh and theres the Nvidia babe Luna in there naked without her textures!

I can't wait for next months issue when I get to see a full Thermaltake case with its covers off and parts showing!

Theres also going to be a feature on Nvidia babes Luna, Dusk and Nalu all Lezzing one another up in Wireframe mode! Cant wait for that one!

Talk about the Full Monty! Phwooarrrr!

Yeah, sometimes I get caught offguard, like the issue containing "Ways to make your hard disk last longer" ....I bought that thinking it was just a typo in the headline and sadly found out that it was supposed to say disk after all

Edugeek has gone X rated!

Thanks everyone. Plenty to go at. I'll have a trawl round their websites and see what free subs I can get.

Hopefully that wasn't in reference to the last few posts!

At least this thread won't get caught by the filters... :p

We should change our domain to http://www.edugeek.xxx

but computer shopper has some interesting articles. MacBiter was good, but he died in October!

I know, I was really really shocked when Tony Tyler died. He was the main reason for buying the mag. His column was excellent.

very difficult to find in the newsagents, especially smiths, maybe because it's a quality read at a bargain price.....started off at 1.80 and now at 2.20 which is a bargain compared to virtually everything else. I'm sure smiths would prefer to peddle the overpriced junk that exists in the computing section which normally run a range of very original features such as 'overclocking' or the 100th review this calendar year of the best utilities for creating electronic birthday cards or similar shit

wanna throw some of you're hard earned cash down the toilet, buy pcpro or extreme or computing made easy or any of a number of titles .........

but don't expect to find the only magazine worth buying. I've actually given up trying to hunt it down in the shops, so i've abandoned buying any form of magazine altogether except private eye every fortnight.

For decades I used to read PCW and in the past 15 years, Computer Shopper but since nothing new has really happened in IT in the past few years, I found there was nothing interesting to read about any more :(

I remember articles on The Last One (the first 4th gen database software development tool), Learning about LISP and Forth - those were the days :)

I just used to end up buying them and then not really reading them so I stopped about 6 months ago :(

I miss them a bit now and then and I actually bought a magazine this month - no idea what it's called - just got it 'cause it had a copy of CrazyTalk on the DVD :)

regards
