CESIL Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 I just read this on the website for the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth...spot the (deliberate?) mistake... The tower was featured on BBC Radio Solent, BBC South and on the BBC Two programme, hosted by Dara O'Briain and Dr. Brian Cox, which aimed to educate and inspire people to develop their knowledge of the stars, the solar system and the universes beyond.

It isn't really accepted, just like dark matter isn't really accepted yet, or string theory.

I saw that program on infinity and it went on and on about parallel universes and universes outside our universe until I wanted to scream and bite something

To be honest, I thought the error was calling the esteemed Prof. Cox 'Dr'. I do love Brian Cox though: given that he has a music career most people couldn't tell you much about and went on to be a massively famous scientist, he's pretty much the opposite of Dr Brian May.
