LosOjos Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 I'm in urgent need of an SD card, but don't want to pay Jessops prices (£15 for an own brand class 2 2GB?! No chance!) Anybody know where I can get a 16gb Class 10 for under £20 that offers next day delivery?
teejay Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 Amazon do one for £14.89, just sign up for their trial of free next day delivery then cancel the trial once it's turned up. 1
K.C.Leblanc Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 Wilkinson aren't too bad value for SD cards (I got a basic Sandisk 4GB for £10), it might also be worth having a look in Tesco. 1
Millgate Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 I can help you out with that. Just sent you a PM Cheers 1
LosOjos Posted July 13, 2011 Author Posted July 13, 2011 Amazon do one for £14.89, just sign up for their trial of free next day delivery then cancel the trial once it's turned up. Great tip, that's what I went for in the end
rad Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 Or WHSmiths, they had offers on HP ones that were too good to be true, 1
SW-ICT Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 You could run up to a local computer store and put in a form for petty cash? If not Play.com Amazone.com Elf.com dabs.com Ebuyer.com Hope this helps 1
K.C.Leblanc Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 7dayshop.com - Online Store - £14.99 not sure on delivery time 7 days at least, they're not a company to use if you're in a hurry.
LosOjos Posted July 14, 2011 Author Posted July 14, 2011 Thanks for the suggestions all, I went with Amazon in the end and used the "prime" trial for free next day delivery, should turn up any minute now...
laserblazer Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 (edited) 7dayshop.com - Online shopping made easy !, delivery is normally a couple of days. Stuff comes from Guernsey, so you can't rely on it being that quick. http://www.mymemory.co.uk/search?searchTerm=PNY+16GB+Professional+SD+Card+%28SDHC%29+-+Class+10 will be quicker Edited July 14, 2011 by laserblazer
LosOjos Posted July 14, 2011 Author Posted July 14, 2011 Well the Amazon delivery never turned up - first delivery using their "prime service" and they fail to deliver well I'm just glad I'm not one of the mugs paying £50 a year for it!
Millgate Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 Amazon have messed up a few orders for me personally! Grrrrrrrrrrr
laserblazer Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 @losojos If you are really stuck, I can loan you a class 4 Sandisk 16GB card. I'm just down the m5 from you. 1
LosOjos Posted July 15, 2011 Author Posted July 15, 2011 Amazon have messed up a few orders for me personally! Grrrrrrrrrrr They're rubbish! Ever since they tried letting other sellers sell via their website, I've had no end of problems with them, waste of time! I wish I'd taken you up on your offer now, would have been worth it for the peace of mind! @losojos If you are really stuck, I can loan you a class 4 Sandisk 16GB card. I'm just down the m5 from you. Cheers for the offer, but thankfully the card has turned up now (all be it not next day delivery as promised)
Oaktech Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 Echo the sentiment about 7 day shop, they may be cheap but the service is at best leisurely and the returns policy is pretty useless for memory cards (must be returned unopened... what use is that!) I've used ebuyer a lot for memory. SRS micro systems also are pretty cheap, and they accept purchase orders.
laserblazer Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 I've got some money sitting in PayPal. Think I'll get one MyMemory 32GB SD Card (SDHC) - Class 10 £21.99 - Free Delivery
