6Foot2 Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 I saw this picture on a separate forum: http://gyazo.com/c658aca40bc37622086df605a4ae8cec.png But as it says in the other forum shouldn't the writing that is reflected in the astronaut's visor on the Tardis be reversed? [it looks as if it isn't to me] Or perhaps this is part of the upcoming storyline?
timzim Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 But it's not reflected in the visor - it's below the shiny bit and doesn't curve with the surface under it. You can therefore assume it's a logo on top of the picture and not actually part of it. In any case.........erm, it's not real....
riffleman Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 it's not real.... Non believer! Stone the heretic!
6Foot2 Posted March 28, 2011 Author Posted March 28, 2011 In any case.........erm, it's not real.... It's OK I get that it isn't real [ducks for cover] However in the context of the original post: But it's not reflected in the visor - it's below the shiny bit and doesn't curve with the surface under it. Not this bit: http://gyazo.com/47d81cf739253315cca1d472ff146cbe.png this bit: http://gyazo.com/f3be38626f960f586c16d97b90a83b2f.png on the curved part of the visor.
LeMarchand Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 Too low quality to tell methinks. Yep, though it does look as if the writing on the panel on the right is: short blur space longer blur. If that's correct then it would be XOB ECILOP (ish) which would seem to be right. Also the Doctor does appear to be holding his sonic in what would be his right (therefore, correct) hand (assuming it is a reflection). Anyway, why look on that side of the pic when the lovely Amy is on the other?
6Foot2 Posted March 28, 2011 Author Posted March 28, 2011 Another theory has surfaced: The three travellers and the Tardis are inside the space suit and therefore there is no reflection and no reversal of the text.
beeswax Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 Check out Matt Smith's (hair) parting - BBC - Doctor Who - The Official Site. It's not a reflection.
Fatmas Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 It's a promotional poster about a man who travels through time and space and can repair/destroy/unlock anything with a 'sonic' screwdriver. :-|

MK-2 Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Couldn't you just pass this on to CSI. I'm sure they could easily enlarge the picture, regranulate the integral bits and co-efficiently maximise the broadband fibreness to not only show you if the text is reversed but also get Dr Who's fingerprints from it!
bloxy Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 features an episode written by Neil Gaiman features an episode written by Neil Gaiman features an episode written by Neil Gaiman I can take or leave doctor who....pauses nervously to glance behind him to check for daleks....but Neil Gaiman is fantastic! LeMarchand Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Neil Gaiman is fantastic! Now I can't wait! Have you heard that a) The proposed "Sandman" TV series from the guy who created "Supernatural" has fortunately been pulled (though may - unfortunately - still be in development) and b) a multi-Oscar winning cinematographer who also directs has bought the rights to an "American Gods" movie.
