I saw this picture on a separate forum:

But as it says in the other forum shouldn't the writing that is reflected in the astronaut's visor on the Tardis be reversed? [it looks as if it isn't to me]

Or perhaps this is part of the upcoming storyline?

But it's not reflected in the visor - it's below the shiny bit and doesn't curve with the surface under it. You can therefore assume it's a logo on top of the picture and not actually part of it. In any case.........erm, it's not real....

It's OK I get that it isn't real [ducks for cover] However in the context of the original post:

Not this bit: http://gyazo.com/47d81cf739253315cca1d472ff146cbe.png this bit: http://gyazo.com/f3be38626f960f586c16d97b90a83b2f.png on the curved part of the visor.

Too low quality to tell methinks.

Yep, though it does look as if the writing on the panel on the right is: short blur space longer blur. If that's correct then it would be XOB ECILOP (ish) which would seem to be right. Also the Doctor does appear to be holding his sonic in what would be his right (therefore, correct) hand (assuming it is a reflection). Anyway, why look on that side of the pic when the lovely Amy is on the other?

Another theory has surfaced: The three travellers and the Tardis are inside the space suit and therefore there is no reflection and no reversal of the text.

It's a promotional poster about a man who travels through time and space and can repair/destroy/unlock anything with a 'sonic' screwdriver. :-|

Edit: BBC - Doctor Who - Be the First to See The Impossible Astronaut - News & Features

[The link above was added at the top of the post to draw attention to it. The BBC are giving away 30 pairs of tickets to see 'The Impossible Astronaut' to be shown before it is broadcast on network television]

Relevant:

(The) BBC has released the new trailer for Doctor Who Series 6, which gives fans a better glimpse into what can be expected in the upcoming series. Premiering on April 23, the new season opens with the first chapter of a two-part adventure in an episode titled The Impossible Astronaut. The follow-up episode is called Day of the Moon, and both are set in the United States...

...Matt Smith continues his journey as the Eleventh Doctor, along with companions Karen Gillan as Amy Pond and Arthur Darvill as Rory Williams. Alex Kingston also reprises her role as River Song, and according to showrunner Steven Moffat, the secrets behind this enigmatic character will be revealed this season.

Series 6 of Doctor Who also features an episode written by Neil Gaiman, which will be the fourth in the season. The episode is curiously titled The Doctor’s Wife. Additionally, Moffat has confirmed that the overarching plot of “Silence Will Fall” from the previous season will continue into this series.

Couldn't you just pass this on to CSI. I'm sure they could easily enlarge the picture, regranulate the integral bits and co-efficiently maximise the broadband fibreness to not only show you if the text is reversed but also get Dr Who's fingerprints from it!

Have you heard that a) The proposed "Sandman" TV series from the guy who created "Supernatural" has fortunately been pulled (though may - unfortunately - still be in development) and b) a multi-Oscar winning cinematographer who also directs has bought the rights to an "American Gods" movie.

No I hadn't, I would love to see American Gods made but not sure about the Sandman....could be wonderful....could crash and burn
