Yay! I've just found a Chinese restraunt down the road from the hotel :)

Anything has to be better that the awful chain burger/faux American joints near the canal we ate at last time!

Yay a Chinese! As we didn't make it to a chinese at BETT this year :( Although the Thai was very good and close enough :)

Oh, and geeky t-shirts are compulsary for evening wear!

Plenty of those! I dare say I'll eb wearing one in the conference too. :D

Hmmm, zombie cat, anime, mechas or RPG heroine? Which is the most appropriately geeky...

Am so looking forward to this :) Where do we meet on the day at Microsoft ?

Yes, as per the timings I've posted previously on this thread. That is if you are not staying at the hotel, where we'll proberbly all go down together.

China Palace is the only good one, its a 5min walk from the hotel.

I wouldn't recommend the £15 eat all you want places on Friar Street, they aren't that good.

According to the Microsoft travel link, all conferences should head to the Customer Briefing Centre in Building 3.

Just about to leave home, checked Traffic England... M25 not moving from Junction 5 onwards in a clockwise direction. Two lanes closed. There's abolutely no point leaving home to get stuck in traffic so soon... :( Heaven only knows what time I'll get to Reading tonight.

I'll be going up the M3 as well at about the same time - if you see a redhead in a big old seven seater that'll be me!
