Thin Clients keep being unplugged
carvjo replied to manc_techie's topic in Thin Client and Virtual Machines
Hi Dan Use M4 bolts to attach one of these to each of the VESA mount locations on the monitors - (Screw Cable Tie Mount - available lots of places inc. CPC, Screwfix or Conrad in Germany) Then use monster long cable ties, or join several big cable ties - and cable tie the thin clients to the back of the monitor.. Do it with the power button to the top of the monitor, and the cables at the base.. the cables will be out of reach of little fingers! For added security - a hot melt glue gun can be used to hold the cables in place. Also setup a couple of webcams on old PCs with iSpy to pry on what the kids are doing.. Best of luck.. -

I agree.. iBoss is very good.. We had Websense and scrapped it - we trialled Barracuda, it was OK but Support was difficult - iBoss worked better, was easier to use, had the features we wanted for BYOD and Support is excellent.. We bought an iBoss device.. -

The early Lumix DMC-FZ20 could only take SD Cards up to 2Gb - and I don't think a firmware update exists to change that? Check the exact model number as the later FZ-20's could take bigger cards. Panasonic make very capable cameras, and it's not the camera that matters so much, as the creativity of the person pressing the shutter!

Asda opticians - cheaper than mail-order - excellent product.. my wife has a complex prescription and needs varifocals which have to be made 'thinner and lighter' to look OK.. Boots, Specsavers et all.. typically £350 to £400.. Asda - on a designer frame £99 - includes the thinner-lighter lenses, antiscratch, anti-reflection etc etc.. Highly recommended product - Pity the sales staff at the Milton Keynes Asda Opticians are so awful.. if they could get customer service right they would be perfect..
