I'm amazed we got this far through the thread before Rocky came up. Amazed and disgusted.

 

I'd weigh my vote in for Gladiator anyway - everything a man can aspire to be, all the sacrifice, humility and nobility... I always get a piece of dust in my eye at the end of that film, as he walks through the fields of Elysium...

I don't think i've ever watched any of the old gangsta/mob movies, but have to conceed, that Godfathers needs to be in there.

 

Reservoir Dogs needs an honourable mention, and I dare you to find a man that hasn't watched Star Wars at some point.... Wheither you love it or hate it, every man has watched it.

 

Rocky and Rambo deserve a place as a matched pair; one is about beating people with your fists, the other about senseless use of oversized combat knives and automatic weapons.

 

The last slot should be a comedy movie, and Spaceballs is a good contender, but don't think it's 'man enough' to make it.

Zulu gets my vote, then the matrix plus office space. The expendables is a modern classic along with the dawn of the dead remake. Zombie land would probably rate as well.

 

Aliens and the Die hard films would also be there plus Smokey and the bandit. Can I have Crank 1 & 2 as well?
