The classroom control toolbar will be revisited again soon with a view to looking at if we have the time to continue development of or if we just release it to the community for further enhancement, I will announce this in a few days once the conference is over.

Is there an estimated date of delivery?

Within the next few days we hope!! We are a bit limited by the Lancs system and lack of ZH not being here but we will get it up ASAP!!!

+1 for the different numbe of connections for staff (not that I want to be nice the them but I might have to).

Second question, if it runs using login/logoff scripts can I simply assign it to my student GPO so that it doesn't run for the staff?

That is my understanding, that question was asked at the conference. Does help a bit with the 1 connection limit doesn't it.

As an alternative, you might want to check out a similar system I developed a while ago called LoginTracker. It's freely available under the GPL license on my website here: Craig Rodway

No need for Microsoft technologies on the server-side either. Version 2 is in development.

That is correct simply apply it to the required GPO (Full instructions are included in the download pack) and away you go.

Q: Can it allow more than 1 concurrent logon, i.e. for staff?

A: Not at the moment but it is very easy to change this so it can, if we get enough requests for this we can get this added.

This would be a very useful function. Especially if the concurrent logon count could be differentiated between users and groups of users....?
