Blimey... go on holiday for a week and someone changes things! Body-clock thinks it's midnight, so I'll spend time getting used to it tomorrow.

My avatar is distorted on the top right of the page. It's been stretched vertically for display :(

It's Ok in threads though

Could you possibly post a screenshot in the Site problems section and I will see if I can find out why.

I miss the forums "news" bit being in my face, so I can see the newest forum posts. Instead, it seems to have tucked itself down in the bottom right corner.

New forum posts, which to be honest is the bit i read the most needs to be better placed. If you swapped the edugeek news section with the latest posts section it would be awesome. As it is the site looks great, but isnt as easy to view as the old one. Edugeek has been my homepage for my browser for over a year now and i loved the way new post popped straight up on my screen, not so happy with having to scroll down and get the maginifying glass out to read them squashed in the bottom right hand corner.

Like the look though. Nice work..

Just like to say the new site looks great!

You've done alot of good work here.

Just trying to get my head round where everything is now but I'm sure it won't take too long.

Site is loading really oddly for me in IE8. Lots of white space, lots of excess blue background with a report button at the bottom of the whole site.

I'm not sure how to add attachments to my posts. I can find a file on my hard drive but can't them seem to find a way of uploading it to the site.

The reply button doesn't work when pressed either.

This definitely sounds like an issue with your individual browser. I've just loaded up this page in IE8 and get the right thing displayed. Have you got any addins etc... running? Have you tried loading it in IE8 safe mode?

I have been able to replicate the same issue.

The odd spacing happens when you view the site in compatability mode in IE8. When you turn that off, the site returns to how it should look

IE8 compat mode = IE7 and IE7 does have a signature spacing issue I am fixing.

Has anyone else had this? Since you have created the new site everytime i access Edugeek with IE8 within a minute it freezes and i have to restart the browser. So now i can only access your site using firefox, that also locks up but not as often since i changed to the No Tabs theme up until then it was as bad as IE8, however this hasnt made any difference in IE8.

I have not had this problem with any site other than yours, and its only happened since you changed the site, any ideas?

Cheers

Hi

I use IE8 heavily and I have not noticed it freeze like that, I have noticed a couple of pause issues but nothing major. Does this happen everywhere or just on threads/forum home etc?

Although I like it, on the front page I don't like the way the Forum title comes underneath the post. I also don't like how the comment title comes under the actual comment.

Surely title then post is a better way?
