  1. Ok, I'll answer my own query. Classcharts doesn't natively include the UPN number. You have to request it to be added to the spreadsheet. Also, there is a guide about exporting parent emails in a guide from capita. I did indeed manage to merge the two tables. Success!
  2. Good afternoon all, I'm trying to produce a report/spreadsheet in SIMS that will let me export UPN & parent email ONLY, so I can add the data to the Class Charts Parent Code spreadsheet and use VLOOKUP, so I can then create a single sheet and use that to mailmerge using Outlook to send the Parent Code to parents. Has anyone else done this, and could anyone give me some advice to find the parent email in SIMS? (at the moment, when I export that field, I get their whole address plus their email address. TIA! Chris
  3. The worst thing about this? Capita increasing support costs & product costs to cover the fines they'll probably receive ..... (They have to pay for it somehow, and I don't think they have a savings account called "GDPR f&%k Ups" )
  4. I got that email too. Not happy. Now 99 other geeks have my email. How much geekage can someone have?
  5. Hi all, I recall quite a while ago, I used to run a piece of free software on the server which had an awesome graphical interface, which was good to glance to, to see if there were any issues. It was called Spotlight on Windows, and required a free licence file. As far as I gather, this piece of software disappeared (Aquired by Dell?) I'm looking for either a version that works, or a simple to install (there's the key) piece of software that has a similar graphical interface. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? - Chunks
  6. Hi all, Well, I've just found this gem again. Is there any way to get this freeware version working again?
  7. Yeah, I know bro - Everything is busy busy. All I want is a lottery win (well, I guess it'd be a start) Will have to catch up sometime! (RM Seminar, Summer round? - I think it's free)

  9. OK, So now my quest is to find alternatives for English and Maths to replace Successmaker, or maybe some suggested online resources. Help!
  10. Hi All, We're moving from Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server 2012r2 and currently run Successmaker. Has anyone else made this move? Anyone know if it works, or had any issues? Cheers, Chris.
  11. Ok, There was a stand doing some fairly interesting work with 3D pictures (making Anaglyphs). Guess who forgot to take a note of the name of the company? Yup, me. So, does anyone know who this company is? Cheers, Chunks

  16. Bump - Anyone else have this issue?
  17. OK, I'd understand this, but it's set as British on all. Also, it seems to work on 2 XP machines. Is there any known issues with Windows 7 computers?
  18. Hi, We've just bought into IEP Writer (Learn How Publications) and we're discovering an issue. When we click "Send to Word" we get prompted to safe the file, click save, it says "Sending printing to Word" and then we get an error coming up which says... "IEP Writer v3: <13/10/2000> is not a valid date" Any ideas?
  19. Great feedback so far guys n gals. Please keep it coming! Also, any suggestions on good pricing for Sibelius?
  20. Hi All, We're currently running some PCs with Cubase (elements / older) , Sibelius (very very old) and ejay. We have some Audigy cards, and some mAudio 9624 cards. So, we're looking at replacing this old stuff with something up to date. Suggestions on hardware and software would be great. If anyone can suggest freeware / open source software that will meet the needs of the edexcel / gcse syllabus, that would be good. (from what I see, I'm looking at approx £40 for cubase 7 elements licences each, £74 for Sibelius 7 licences each, and ejay? it's discontinued?) Cheers, Chris.
  21. Sarcasm. Fortunately, I don't have to bring it out as often as I used to.
