Just for a bit of clarification creese, I am currently (though not for much longer as the company is in administration) working for a multi car dealership, I have worked there for the last 8 years and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it! But I would relish the opportunity to join back in a decent team environment, and I would have thought a school/college environment would be all that.

hahahaha was feeling a bit bummed out but that has made me smile!

After recently attending an interview for an IT Tech job (unfortunately was unsuccessful), the reason for not getting the job was due to the other applicant already having school experience. So my question is how do you convince the interviewers that you are suitable for the job role just as well as the one that has school experience? because to be brutally honest I have no clue it's almost like a catch 22 situation.

Morning, Can you check that your webserver meets the follwing required reqs? Might also be worth your time to go get one of these, apache friends - xampp So you can test functionality on your local PC rather than having to upload files etc to your webserver. Most of the time I use this method before I push one live.

Ok, need a bit more info, is it a local server that's hosting the joomla DB? or do you have your hosting outsourced ? Also one quick thing to check, go find the file htaccess.txt or .htaccess file open the file to edit, and look for this: # RewriteBase / You must remove the # so it looks like this below: RewriteBase / Reload the page and everything should be fine ! if not let me know

Joomla Site - logon details stored where?
moobsuk replied to speckytecky's topic in How do you do....it?
If you are using phpMyAdmin you can run a quick SQL query: UPDATE `jos_users` SET `password` = MD5( 'new_password' ) WHERE `jos_users`.`username` = "admin" ; Where it has new_password obviously type your new one here. And make sure that the username who's password you want to change is admin. And you should be good to go. http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c45/stevovarl/1-1.jpg -

More of a question really than looking for answers to a problem It looks like a majority of users here use Smoothwall, has anyone tried Netpilots? Is there features in the smoothwall setup that Netpilots do not have? what are the Pros and cons?
