Without doubt the best time in a school day. No kids and no staff.. yet. Just myself and a couple of cleaners.. bliss !!!

I have just cut my hours, so won't be doing early mornings for a while :o

I know what you mean though!!

It's brilliant. I only live a few miles away from most of my schools but it normally takes me a good half an hour to get in, because of traffic. It's taken me 8 minutes this morning.. I know.. I timed it.. it's bad :)

It's amazing how much you get done when there is no one to popping their head around the door every 2 seconds asking " have you got ?" " Do you know?" "Wil you do?"

I've got stuff done this morning that I've been meaning to do for a week now

Doesn't A.M. stand for Aint Moving? I'm not really an early morning person but I know what you mean about it being better when the schools are empty. Productivity always plumits as soon as too many other people appear.

This site only open at 6.00am and there are some teachers queuing by then!! So you can't get a way from them.

There is only 1 hour that starts with 6 in my day.

Teachers were queuing at 6am? you never see a teacher, in my schools, come in before 7:45

Its a pain here... I'm meant to start work at 8.30am, but pupils and teachers are often here from 7.45am.. no point really coming in early though as the master key is held in the filing cabinet of someone who doesn't come in till 8.30!

Home time is 4.15, although a lot of the staff / pupils are still here gone 6pm, which is annoying again for peace and quiet!
