Been sitting listening to some old tunes and thought what was my favourite track of 2009 ,

 

Mine has to be Kasabians Underdog as show below, I think this group just make great music, so whats yours ?

Technically a draw for me - 2009 was the year of Eminem.

I listen to so much music it's difficult to choose just one overall, so I'm going to cheat. Here's a list of memorable tracks that I discovered this year. The album that they're on was probably mostly good as well.

Tyler Ramsey - Birdwings

 

I love the way music can remind you of a specific place, moment in time or person - most of the above does at least one of those things

Absolutely nothing in my usual taste as trance pretty much had it's year 10 years ago.

 

But quite a fan of the following:

 

Kasabian: underdog

Florence and the machine: just about everything they've done even if they aren't as good as the originals

And oddly enough, Lily Allen : The Fear.

 

Could I also interject with "The Worst" and add "Anything by Ladyboy Gaga"

 

dagnabbit how did I forget.

 

Prodigy's entire album Invaders Must Die.

Particularly, the title track, Warriors Dance and Take Me To The Hospital (Reminded due to mac_shinobi's Pendulum)

Good thread.. Ill have to think long and hard but for sure the Kasabian album is right up there.. Thought the new Ian Brown album and the Prodigy albums were both pretty good too.. Not really got that much music this year so not heard much else..

I didnt even like Kasabian before but Ill admit Underdog and the album in general is really good.

 

I cant select one track either, all I can do is list the albums I enjoyed
