Mini Mac Server - Can't access Workgroup Manager Local
marekbrad replied to speckytecky's topic in Mac
I can confer that this works very well.. had a blonde moment and forgot our DIRadmin password and this got me out of a whole load of trouble -
Set up a new workgroup in workgroup manager .. add the AD users as individuals rather than via their windows group.. boom new workgroup. Dont forget to change where Apple Workgroup manager "looks" for users in the right hand panel to your AD

usual suspects in no particular order... DNS .. can the macs do both forward and reverse dns lookups to your AD and time .. do your macs use the same time server as you DC .. or even point to DC for time, does DHCP push out search domain? You may need to talk to your AD admin
