Mandy Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 9/9/9 - England Emergency Number 9/11 - American Emergency Number Argh.... I'm scared!!!
tech_guy Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Yes, it's interesting that we're going to have 09:09:09am on 09/09/09!
neilmc Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 If tomorrow was judgement day what is there to be scared of?
Mandy Posted September 8, 2009 Author Posted September 8, 2009 Maybe not judgement day, but a day for terrorists!! Oh ooh
apoth0r Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 .....whatever will be will be! The futures not ours to see ......
plexer Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 My brother is getting married tomorrow. I will be at work. Ben
t_h Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 My friend (born 9th September) is due to have a baby tomorrow (09.09.09) I suppose if it happens it will be mildly interesting but at the end of the day it's just our human minds looking for significance in patterns, completely moot to anyone not using our calendar system.
K.C.Leblanc Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 9/9/9 - England Emergency Number 9/11 - American Emergency Number Argh.... I'm scared!!! No it's worse then that, it's Wednesday. A day so bad the Germans don't even dare give it a proper name.
K.C.Leblanc Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 Ok, I left my coffee at home, had to drink Nescafe. This is definatly proof that Wednesdays are rubbish.
bossman Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 @Mandy: Why are people so medieval in their thinking? Is it the macabre events that interest us or just that we hope something is going to happen because we lead such dull and unexciting lives? 3
EvLPhenom Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 thread name: "is tomorrow judgement day?" Apparently not
K.C.Leblanc Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 But can't people understand the gravity of the situation, I've had to drink bloomin' Nescafe.
localzuk Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 The world ends every moment of every day. There is no future or past, there is just now... 1
K.C.Leblanc Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 Woo hoo!! We're still alive!! And I've managed to procure some ground coffee. Yayyyyy :)
bossman Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 @Mandy: Are you really sure? You could be dead but your mind may be living somewhere else? It could also be a figment of your imagination I suppose or the matrix? You will have to prove to us that you are alive Mandy by posting pictures with today's date embedded in them so we will then know that you are well and truly alive hehe!! 1
apoth0r Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 But can't people understand the gravity of the situation, I've had to drink bloomin' Nescafe. My heart goes out to you in this difficult time
ahuxham Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 Woo hoo!! We're still alive!! I take it you didn't live last night as if it were your last? Or you'd still be in bed, with the worst hang-over in your life
contink Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 Well I don't know about anyone else but as my hand is covered in black ink, my wife spent the night snoring her head off (she is finding this ironic and amusing) and my new-ish car will be delayed for another 24 hours... I'm convinced it's all Mandys fault.. No, no... don't even bother to deny it... I was cursed... *sits back and waits for Monty Python type quotes to flow*
bossman Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 @Mandy: Now see what you've done with your wishful non thinking! Poor contink has to wait another day for his new car due to your meddling with the time space continuum. I think she may have to apologise to you contink or make it up to you some other way don't you think?
oalcock Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 Aparantley on Radio 1 this morning, they were getting everybody to honk their horns on their cars at 09:09:09. I didn't hear any horns, did you?
sidewinder Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 Aparantley on Radio 1 this morning, they were getting everybody to honk their horns on their cars at 09:09:09. I didn't hear any horns, did you? No. I can only hope that means the population isnt yet moronic enough to listen to what Chris Moyles tells them to do
witch Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 Well - I am still alive, but one network is completely messed up (and I am sort of being blamed for it..), the server is causing all sorts of problems, and the other network...well, best not talk about it... Is it all Mandy's fault?
