AAAAaaaaaaaaargh, it is still in that jumped up trashcan olympia. Tony Grumbledook will tell you - Earl's court (new home of Infosec) is a whole lot better.

Still, I am looking forward to it. We will be back again of course, with more cunning plans and fun tricks than ever before - hopefully I can make the whole week this time.

I had a cracking time last year with my fellow West Norfolk NM's and Tech's in tow. Looking forward to the same this year. Killer feet again though, but more freebies......

And Securus, ABTutor, Samsung, Smoothwall and Bluepoint all did well out of it, and Ruckus will be soon as well.

I'll be down on the stand for *1* day ... and I am not telling anyone which day (not even DB) so no-one can get me to do anything other than give out helpful information ("Hit it with a larger hammer!")

I will be down for the full week but actually getting to see things, get to seminars, try out lots of toys ... but I might visit around lunch time ... just in case there is any spare Pizza!

You just know that Andy will have you doing an install in Devon that week!

:o That's mean, I think Cutter should be at Bett with Edugeek, so send Kim to be on the stand all week, with Cutter being such a good firm and so helpful they would be a great asset and with the S7000 range of kit I know that will fly off the shelves with there support and offerings. I know it got some interest from colleagues in my area when I discussed it with them recently.

Last year was my first time and ended up making the long journey from Cornwall (although I actually flew!) alone. This year I'll be attending and bringing our Headteacher which should be fun (part sarcasm / part serious!)

How about we all agree to wear edugeek namebadges inside the venue so we can spot eachother?!

No doubt the infamous EduGeek Lanyard hunt will begin again. Possibly one of the most saught after items last year ... each day's allocation would go within the first hour or so IIRC.

Of course ... DB will have some suitable surprise for us this year (t-shirts for sale?)

Looking forward to turning up on Wed morning as a punter and asking pointless questions like "when is Sir Bob turning up?"

I'll be around all of those days if you want help running the stand. I had a great time doing it this year and I'd love to pitch in again. :)

pun-ter? Whats this strange work you speak of Tony, you just know you WILL be desperate to be helping out and enjoying the fun on the stand, taking an oversized novelty dog for a walk around the show with Ric and I for photos.....

Oh no ... not this year :-) I get to play on other stands, get to go to seminars, press announcements, meet real people and talk about stuff related to what I get paid for.

I may drift over around lunchtimes though ... clad in black, mask over my face and with ninja-like stealth purloin some slices of Pizza before anyone gets sight of me ... damn ... I've just typed that out again haven't I!?!
