Hmmmm I need to change my vote as if I voted in 2005 ive moved into a bracket and not far off changing into another one :( Booo I defo feel about 90 though at present except im not that good at sleeping and old people are good at that.

Nah! People sleep less as they get older! I think we get out of the habit of lie-ins when we have kids :D Anyway there's nothing like being wide awake and bright and breezy when you have teenagers in the house! :p

Yes, I love flinging open their doors or playing loud music very early in the morning!!! :)

I'm a teenager still in sleep patterns, when I can sleep, its sleep starts around 2/3am and up time is dinner time :D Unless the phone goes then its not :(

Yeah. 25 when the poll started. 35 now. Gone up two categories!

Left school at 18, got a job at a computer shop and stayed for four years.

Got another job at 22 at a Mac repair shop, lasted for six months

Got my first school job at 22

Got my second at 27

Got my college job at 28

Got my uni one at 35.

 

Huzzah.

I haven't actually. I was in the top category even then :(

 

As for the IT jobs... computers have evolved so much since I started my degree on punch cards back in 1982 that the jobs around now weren't even thought of back then!

 

It's not as straightforward as technician, senior tech, network manager!

Graduated in 2008, was going to be a PE teacher. Changed my mind and did odd jobs. Was working as a recruitment consultant, fixed a few problems with PCs & printers when the managed services company were tied up so was told, "You can be the IT guy!" Worked as the IT guy for about 18 months on the back of zero experience (other than what I'd done at home as a hobby), then got laid off. First job in a school this time last year, aged 30. A very round the houses route but passed my A+ in October last year and now working towards Network+.
