We have some guy that simply loves coming to collect toner and ink cartridges. They collect on behalf of Action Aid and can be contacted on 07985 539064.

lol - maybe you don't exist :p

Worth giving them a call - we've been using them for 2 years and not had a single problem.

We collect the cartridges etc, they collect and send us a cheque.

Get the parents and local businesses involved and the money that can be raised is quite substantial for little effort.

some bloke turns up at reception and we hand them over, no idea where hes from, no idea why he comes he just takes them away no fuss!

Ben

That's cos a) I am a numpty, and b) because I forgot that the site automatically translates URLs, and I was finishing a sentence.

(but yep - Recycool - no problems whatsoever, apart from them not taking Epson cartridges... I send them off anyway and let them dispose of them ;))

We use a local guy for all our toners. Not the cheapest but he delivers personally and collects all old ones for recycling free of charge. We just have a box that when it gets full he comes and collects.

This isnt much help unless you are in West Berkshire but there must be similar small companies doing it around the country

Do you mean just inkjet or toner epson carts too?

All our Toners are OKI, but I can't find anyone who will accept them - recycool don't have them on their list :(

I take them to Help the Aged who seem happy to have them

I use Action Aid Recycling then also sold off my empty genuines to a firm on the internet, got a cheque for £200 the other day, so not bad at all :)

we use a company that works on behalf of the NSPCC they have a free pick up service just call 01635 587 060 when the box (they provide) is full they also take old mobiles and inkjets too

Action Aid Recycling here too - free collection - supply boxes and bags

Don't supply the hammer to belt the teacher over the head for stuffing paper in the toner cartridge recycling bin instead of the waste paper recycling bin though....it might put you off using them!!

Note I am not Action Aid, just it ties in well here, and I use them and they are what I want from a company, don't call me often, no daily emails or anything, so I do like recomending them.

Anyway Action Aid also do sell Cartridges -Compat and Genuine Inks (the comps I get are JetTech ones from them which seem very good in my use of them over the last 3 years) and they do genuine and compat toners, with money from the compat goods bought going to the Action Aid charity as well, so by buying from them and recylcing with them you are giving a charity a double helping of donations which I think is great.

Jan is my account manager there and she is wonderful, very nice, quick to responde and very helpful.
