RabbieBurns Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 What shows do you all watch? Bang up to date on all 3 CSI's, watch NCIS, Cold Case, Dexter, Californication and Heroes. Cant get my head around the latest series of Heroes really tbh. Prison Break just started to get good again. A couple of good new ones in The Mentalist and Fringe as well. Cant wait for the new 24 to start!
Lithium Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 I'd have to leave me on, Top Gear & Scrubs... I should really watch more TV... as for Dexter... checkout the NSFW advertising poster: clicky clicky
tmcd35 Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Not much at the moment. Seems to be just Hereos and Top Gear. I'm waiting for 24 and Dr Who to start up again. Survivors seems quite good. Rest of the time the TV seems to be on Sky News.
LeMarchand Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Currently fairly up do date on: Chuck (improving) Heroes (getting a bit bored) Terminator (even more so) How I Met Your Mother (enjoying) Eli Stone (sad, but not surprised, it got cancelled) Fringe (my fave new show) Bones (great) Criminal Minds (also great) Life On Mars (variable) Sanctuary (pish) Legend of the Seeker (hypnotised by Bridget Regan's cleavage) CSI: Miami (why do I watch this?) Have I Got A Bit More News For You The IT Crowd (this week's caused much coffee spillage) The Sarah Jane Adventures Stacking up on the DVR/PC: Survivors Merlin (another "why do I watch this?") Life Apparitions Cold Case Desperate Housewives Dexter (might dump this, have seen all of S1 and not really into it) Prison Break (a lot of these get played on my laptop while I'm working on my desktop - at home! - and I like to "properly" watch this, but never have the time) Pushing Daisies (might dump this, as the pilot was too self-consciously "quirky") Eleventh Hour Numb3rs ...there's probably more I've forgotten and stuff that goes back a while such as 'Carnivale' and definitely a lot more stuff that isn't currently on like 'Lost'.

Older shows that are no longer airing that I liked are Jericho, The Tribe, 15 Storeys High and X Files. Edited November 30, 2008 by webman

sidewinder Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 I just cant stand most of the American stuff. CSI is ridiculous, 24 is wildly OTT, Lost got too complicated for its own good and Heroes, well theres nothing wrong with it I guess, just didnt fancy it. Only one I do like is The Wire but Im getting through that incredibly slowly. Currently all I'm actually watching is: Lead Balloon IT Crowd Survivors Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe I just watch more films than anything, dont do much TV I want to start watching Mad Men and Weeds though, they look good. If I ever get time
mattx Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 24 is wildly OTT Thats why it's called fiction. Next someone will be telling me Family Guy is not real.......
webman Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 Next someone will be telling me Family Guy is not real....... Mattx... *hand on shoulder* I'm sorry to tell you this, but....
mattx Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 Mattx... *hand on shoulder* I'm sorry to tell you this, but.... The Bird is NOT the word ?
sidewinder Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 Thats why it's called fiction. Next someone will be telling me Family Guy is not real....... lol you know what I mean Obviously its fiction but its the fact it tries to make out like its realistic when its totally stupid. And some people seem to believe it IS realistic! Maybe its just me, I dont mind a bit of action but it has to be within the realms of possibility. I dont mind suspending belief when the whole concept is fantasy, but a show about a CTU should have some basis in reality. Instead it just turns into a show about one guy who is seemingly invincible, is cliched beyond belief and seems to exist just so Americans can whoop and holla that he's defeating the nasty terrorists that they're told so much about
Fuzzz Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 I watch Dr. Who and A town called Eureka on the (dutch) SciFi-channel. Also watch the Discovery Channel alot Also seeing Dr. Who on On Demand on DTV
ascott2 Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 24 is my all time favourite TV show. 24:redemption was really good, finally some action outside of the US! I also watch Spooks and Top Gear.

webman Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 Hmmm. If what you are telling me is the truth, Mr. Sysman_MK, then I have been mis-informed by my formerly trustworthy sources. Mark my words, one day when they least expect it, their uppance will come!
