Hightower Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 For me I don't have any time during the week - Mon & Tues evening I'm at uni, Wed evening is football, Thursday is band practice - so by the time the weekend comes I'm always burnt out.
tomscaper Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 I am knackered but i am off next week, am currently in process of buying a house so i have the added stress of mortgages and other money worries.
DSapseid Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 Im sitting here yawning my head off and im working all weekend at my other job. Next week im not here but ive got to empty the garage, sort out the woodworm on the garage room joists, paint the decking, paint the garage door, decorate my room, cut the grass and hedges one last time before winter. So i am not really goin to get much time to relax!
ninjabeaver Posted October 24, 2008 Author Posted October 24, 2008 I'm just glad it's not only me then.
Sirbendy Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 oh, bum. I'd forgotten about the lawns and hedges... damndamndamn...
Domino Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 Who do you work for? doesn't sound too bad! It says just to the left of this post... Its just with all this going on I don't have any time for the niggling things that i know could do with addressing...
Little-Miss Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 To be fair, my tiredness is partly my fault. Every night I do some MSCA study, and I'm doing a Psychology A-Level at the same time Psychology?! That's a strange qualification to be after as a Network Manager. Well, i've survived my first half term at my new job. Brain hurts from trying to take everything in. I'm going in for a day to relocate the servers, but im not doing anymore. I'm going to enjoy my first ever holiday where i dont actually have to work!
maniac Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 Pretty tired, really wanna just slump in front of the tele, but I really need to start making some headway at packing/clearing out stuff as I'm moving soon nearer to work, and there's just so much to do. I hate moving, but I have ended up moving 3 times in as many years! Hopefully this place will last a bit longer! Mike.

russdev Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 yes does not help that my son decided that 4Am was a good time to wake up this morning. Russ
leco Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 I'm obviously doing something wrong! Not tired, though have been on the go every day since August. Doing school during the day and my degree in the evening/early hours. Have decided not to think about school as soon as I leave the building. It has worked so far but don't know how long it will last. Sorry to buck the trend guys.
Sylv3r Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 tired today, just been to sleep for a couple of hours. No doubt will struggle to get to sleep when it comes to later on tonight!
webman Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 Yeah, totally knackared. Started foundation degree recently and still doing Cisco course - so for 3 nights of the week I'm doing 11+ hours of learning as well as working full time. Taking a week holiday for half-term to have a rest - not taken any holidays since April!
jcollings Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 Totally shattered but a great start to term. Tiredness not helped this week by journeys to and from hospital including 5am last Sunday morn to help a friend out. At least half term has finally arrived so I can catch up on some sleep!
Andrew_C Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 Shattered. Doesn't help that I'm up at 6:30 every morning to get daughter to VI form before work. Still, got a lot done yesterday with no kids or teachers around. Now not back in until Friday when expecting a large, heavy delivery that will all have to be carried upstairs to various classrooms.
WithoutMotive Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 Still shattered but a whole week off now Many lie-ins ahead of me.
crc-ict Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 Yep, but off to Spain in two weeks! Although, then no more leave until next April... Even working over Christmas hols.
