We use Redstor, They do an education product with an unlimited quota.

The pricing is based on student numbers.

"To outline how we comply with the 3-2-1 rule; we keep two independent copies, in two geographically separated locations in the UK and both copies are immutable. This happens automatically when customers run any kind of backup with our solution covering all applications (SaaS and On Premise)"

We're using Barracuda for it with on site appliance and backup from that to the cloud for all our MAT schools, along with their Cloud to Cloud backup for 365 as well

+1 for the Redstor unlimited package (Rebadged as Gridstore through LGfL, in our case).

We've got it backing up local VMs to cloud, as well as backing up our Microsoft and Google cloud services.

looking at redstor, as well as VMs and the user data in 365 (onedrive / sharepoint) and google (drive) does it also backup your cloud setup / config

e.g. in Google Education Fundamentals will it backup user and device settings ?

The same for us. If we hadn't already had other Barracuda services, including Cloud-to-Cloud backup, we may have gone for Redstor. However, the Redstor requirement for installing an agent, and inability to backup Linux VMs and Virtual Appliances, was a negative.

AFAIK, it will backup Azure directory, but I don't think it backs up Google Workspace directory and settings, just the data.

We use Virtue Techs backup solution, which backups to their data centre, then creates an additional copy, which is completely invisible to Veeam, so is a true air-gapped solution.

As above and as it is unlimited we also backup a couple of critical PCs (e.g. catering manager's). I've also used it to migrate several VMs to new hardware when none of the 'usual' mechanisms would work
