So after getting staff on to the Google Authenticator, today it is asking to re-register with Google Authenticator.

What half baked rubbish is this!

Heh, same here. Ridiculous. At least it says cpoms rather than meritec now.

Half of our accounts havent been moved over to Auth 0.

I now have to sit down each person and see how they are loggin in because neither of my help sheets fit all scenarios of what they are seeing.

Also if you change the email address in CPOMS, this does not change the login email address--- it is a pain.

Today we've had

Your Auth0 account is not associated with a CPOMS user account for this school.

For users who don't need 2fa (So teachers) - Our users that do need 2fa are fine. But of course, if teachers can't log on then it's... useless.

Support are able to reset accounts when it happens, but it's an annoyance as you have to wait on the phone for a good 30/40 minutes.

Yeah we had that too, lets just say the support message I sent was on the verge of being unprofessional. The last thing I needed yesterday was CPOMS issues.

Glad it's not only me that has left a borderline voicemail!

I've got a user who isn't prompted to add a new device and no option to add one on their homepage. Going into settings asks them to add a CPOMS auth code.

Same, I've got two users that can't raise their access/add MFA to their accounts.

A slight rant incoming...

Has anyone recently had any success at all with CPOMS support? Every time I've tried to contact them they either outright ignore my query or state they'll get back to me and then never do.

Support is honestly a shambles and frankly useless since they've been taken over, and I can't but help vent a little bit of my frustration. Between bad support and the awful handling of the MFA changes rollout, it really is a mess.

They are super slow at replying to tickets recently. One I logged took 5 days to get anything.

Yes, the MFA rollout was a shambles. Logging tickets was a waste of time & the only way to get stuff sorted was sit on hold on the phone for an hour...

When they get things done they are pretty good but it seems like they've got too big and need to employ more people as I have had times when I've waited forever.

Getting an Access Denied message and this "Your Auth0 account is not associated with a CPOMS user account for this school."

Usually happens if the backend email address doesn't match the one in the account  - is it a newly married/divorced/name change person?

Nope, this is happening to all users across the site.

10 minutes listening to CPOMS support jingle makes me think it isn't only us.

Fine here.

Although, earlier this week, for some unknown reason, all users had to reset their passwords, which always troubles me when a company forces that upon us.

[Investigating] We are aware that a very small amount of CPOMS users are experiencing problems with accessing their CPOMS StudentSafe system. Our engineers are actively investigating at the highest priority to identify the root cause of the issue and working towards a resolution. We understand the impact this interruption is having and fully restoring service as quickly as possible is our top priority. We will be providing our next update as soon as possible. Issue seems to have been resolved for us.

EDIT - Nevermind, we can log in but no one can go anywhere but the dashboard.

What kind of idiot would design a system with a hidden username that you can't see or change?
