kennysarmy Posted July 5, 2024 Posted July 5, 2024 Hi, Had a few users report that they cannot get on their school email :/ Seems to be just Safari (iPhone) users. Before I go back to the website guys can anyone confirm if they visit our website: https://www.balcarras.gloucs.sch.uk/ Then from the MENU choose "Email" using an iPhone and Safari - is the page accessible? Cheers
Steve21 Posted July 5, 2024 Posted July 5, 2024 Yep, goes to the normal microsoftonline login page Steve 1
kennysarmy Posted July 5, 2024 Author Posted July 5, 2024 Odd. Wonder what's going on with the user's who are reporting the site as inaccessible when using our link :/
Steve21 Posted July 5, 2024 Posted July 5, 2024 What was their actually wording with it? Like not loading? or wrong page? blocked? Just thinking narrowing it down, like DNS on-site? Steve
Jawloms Posted July 5, 2024 Posted July 5, 2024 I have an iPhone user with this too! I've got nowhere so if you figure it out, please post! 1
LeMarchand Posted July 5, 2024 Posted July 5, 2024 Odd. Wonder what's going on with the user's who are reporting the site as inaccessible when using our link :/ They're iPhone users, so probably not pressing the correct link. Do they need/have O365 installed on the phone?
bigal06 Posted July 5, 2024 Posted July 5, 2024 (edited) Works for me on an iPhone and Chrome *and Safari Edited July 5, 2024 by bigal06

robintech Posted July 5, 2024 Posted July 5, 2024 Does it work when they go direct to the https://outlook.office365.com/
RLR Posted July 5, 2024 Posted July 5, 2024 I can access the page fine on my iPhone. On my laptop I get an error as I'm already signed into a Microsoft account that isn't licensed for web mail. Another thought might be iCloud private relay could be causing issues.
sigma Posted July 5, 2024 Posted July 5, 2024 I have had to do a bit of a dance to get on my school’s Outlook 365 this morning from a iPad with a SIM. No problem with Teams. Restarting the browser seemed to sort it, so may be something to do with caching. Unfortunately I had a zillion other sessions going.
kennysarmy Posted July 5, 2024 Author Posted July 5, 2024 Does it work when they go direct to the https://outlook.office365.com/ Yes. It does.
sigma Posted July 5, 2024 Posted July 5, 2024 Version of iOS with the error? iPadOS 17.5.1 (iPad with a SIM using data). Brave browser, Disconnectme VPN
Cw2k Posted July 6, 2024 Posted July 6, 2024 (edited) It goes to outlook web but the url has no domainhint so will use whatever tenant (personal, your org, other org) the user is currently logged in to. If they are logged in to the other account will also get an error staying their account doesn’t have permission to access resources in your tenant. Edited July 6, 2024 by Cw2k
FN-GM Posted July 6, 2024 Posted July 6, 2024 Worked fine for me. But your website loaded incredibly slow. 1
