I was never was verygood at that. My real pet hate are people who don’t try. I don’t care how bad someone is at computer use as long as they try. But it really bugs me when someone is able to do something but doesn’t bother to try and just shouts for help.

crc-ict Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 Walking to the far side of the school because you've been informed that a computer wont boot only to find the F***ing teacher has her USB pen in and the PC is trying it's best to boot from that.:mad: It could be said that that is your fault - you should set c: as first boot device in BIOS. I'm not sure I like the idea of kids being able to bring in bootable sticks and CDs and using them to either trash the system or get around security measures..
Edu-IT Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 I can't think of anything I really dislike doing. If I had to say something then probably cleaning projectors. It's not really that I dislike doing it, it's just not one of the easiest things to do.

I hate sorting out Printer & Projectors, anything else I don’t mind doing. if you're bored and can't sleep try counting sheep lol

Does my nut in too !! 300 laptops later and 9 out of 10 times its oh the key just happened to ping off or it flew off as I pressed it. Which I doubt very much as i can press the keys pretty danged hard and they never ping off, Ive had to literally lever the keys off with a screw driver to make em go flying. This is on Dell D520 Latitude laptops btw - at least in my case.

Someone always seems to have constructed a handy macrame hanging basket out of the cabling and getting it out without loosening the wires to every other electrical appliance in the room is impossible ! A few swear words were said that night.

Where is it. Who owns it. . . . you must know how possessive teachers get over a mouse. How much it cost then. What is it worth now. Life Expectancy. Do we have a license for it. . . No... Oooo. . . Have to uninstall that software you use every day!!! Ooops... yes I actually do that.... And so it goes on..... Lets just say this job makes me say.. .. :censored: :censored: :censored:
