Well that's because I have been in and out of hospital with burns to my legs and right arm. Im home now hopefully for the foreseeable future resting up and recovering. Off sick now for a few months so will pop in as and when I can. Hopefully everyone is well? Did I miss anything?

Popular Post hardtailstar Posted November 22, 2020 Author Popular Post Posted November 22, 2020 Thanks all, Had bandages changed on Friday and the doctors were happy with my healing, my right arm is pretty much healed minus a small area and my legs are healed below my knees. Just the thighs to go! The doctors words were to me about my limbs healing so well - "You are doing bloody brilliantly!" So hopefully be back to normal sooner than I thought! 7

I nearly had a skin graft as a child after a grinding a hole in my middle left finger when a go-kart I was pushing tipped up and under the pressure of my brothers weight, it was dragged along the pavement a good distance through sharp gravel stones. I still have the scar today but it's much smaller relatively as I've grown. It's been many years since I showed anyone, as it was pointed out to me raising my single middle finger could be interpreted as offensive! If I recall rightly, replacement skin would have been taken, shall we say, from the 'butt' region. Apparently that can cause some discomfort (a medical term meaning something between discomfort and agony)! I believe the can grow skin nowadays - what's the source of your graft? 1
