Popular Post ICTDirect_Dave Posted February 24, 2020 Popular Post Posted February 24, 2020 Good afternoon Edugeek! As I hinted at here, it is high time we did another competition for all you lovely people. Those of you who came to see us at BETT last month will likely have met @TimMcHugh, our chief quality control engineer. He's a lovely chap and quickly fit right in with getting to know everyone. A couple of weeks ago, and despite all the best efforts @Domino made in trying to scare him off, he's only gone and signed up for an Edugeek account!! Here's a little bit from Tim, about Tim. My names Tim, I'm 30 years young. I have been working in IT and at ICT Direct for 2 years, but I have had a keen interest in computers since being a teenager, slowly moving more towards servers as I have gotten older. I enjoy tinkering and modifying servers to make them more homelab friendly. I also have an interest in automation and Home Automation, this has caused me to become a proud Linux user over the past few years (my daily driver is Linux Mint). I have just started dipping my toes into networking and Virtualisation, but I still have huge amounts to learn. When I am not in front of a monitor I enjoy spending time in the most remote locations in my campervan, sat around a nice campfire. At Bett @bald_pig suggested another competition similar to that we did when @ICTDirect_Phil joined up and who am I to argue eh? Same as before, this competition is to get Tim a profile picture. I'll provide you with the raw materials and you guys need to deliver your finest Photoshopped (other image manipulation programs are available) profile picture submissions. Each picture you submit counts as one entry and the winning submission will win themselves a Magnificent 512GB NVMe Solid State Drive!! To keep you all keen there will be two runner-up prizes each being a 256GB NVMe SSD!! The winner will be chosen at our discretion come the end of this month and will be announced in-thread. There are no limits to the number of entries you can make. Please keep these (relatively) clean, whilst we appreciate innuendo, I do not need to see anything else like THIS! ICT Direct is committed to timeline preservation and DOES NOT endorse ANY form of Time Travel. Now, here's Tim. He - perhaps foolishly - listened to me when I suggested he had to pose for multiple pictures... Do your worst Edugeek! 11

3s-gtech Posted February 24, 2020 Posted February 24, 2020 In honour of the awesome Howard Lew Lewis, there just seemed a resemblance (though perhaps a little harsh as Rabies!): 2
