When you say £1,000 who does that cover?

Is it £1,000 each?

£1,000 for the IT Department?

or £1,000 for all staff?

One lump sum £1,000 to be spend on all of school staff: Teacher, LSA's, Tech, Admin, Maintenance... Everyone regardless of what their role is in the school. (works out at about £13.51 per person)

Pfft. The trick is to put your secure off-site backups there. And then you fly out twice a year just for maintenance/upkeep/integrity checks/etc :)

Sorry, but that one won't fly with the GDPR police I'm afraid! You know, offshore transmission and all that!

Nice idea though...

Send everyone home for the day.

You don't have to send EVERYONE home. Send the teachers OR the kids home. Everyone happy!

But if you send the Teachers home and not the kids... us support staff wouldn't be best pleased. ;)

We have just allocated the afternoon of our next training day to wellbeing sessions, there are (to name a few) ... footy, photography, yoga, board games, badminton, art workshop etc. etc. That £1000 could go towards materials and suchlike for putting on some similar sessions. It gives an opportunity to do something different and to mix teaching and non teaching staff in a more social environment.
