Very strange. VeriCool uses TeamViewer to login and start the cashless application. USB isn’t accessible from the outside of the machine and I wouldn’t expect someone carrying a keyboard to shutdown the machine. What’s the default admin password anyways as I’m trying to login?
-
Hmm... Some of the students somehow have been able to restart the machine somehow. It shows the windows login screen for us. I’ll most likely contact support to lift the password. Anyone have any idea how a student can restart a VeriCool client from the touchscreen?

Hey all, I’m just wondering on how to restart a VeriCool client machine from the touchscreen? And sometimes once it reboots, it shows the Windows login. What would usually the default password be? Thanks in advance

Unable to join the domain on another VM

You will need to change DNS to a DNS DC. Example, Primary DNS = (enter ip of dc with dns) Secondary DNS = 8.8.8.8 I tried secondary dns with 8.8.4.4 and it doesn’t connect to the internet. -
The trial has £150 of free credit for a month. You can use all of the services but I really recommend to cancel all of the services you sign up for Azure at the end of the month. I didn’t do that and, I was charged £225 for the services I didn’t cancel. Also if you’re a student, you get free Azure Credit. You can set up a test lab with Azure AD and Office 365.

SYSTEM is the Windows account that does everything. All computers in your network has that user created locally.

Hello all, At the moment, the Headteacher wants some staff to be assigned with laptops which they can take home and work from. As they will be outside of the school network, they will still need to authenticate with our Domain Controllers as for some reason, they won’t be using RDS. Is there any way before the OS loads, a screen shows up to connect to our VPN and they type their credentials in then Windows loads up and they will be able to talk to our Servers?

What about the teachers? -
Hello all, I had a student that came asking me “Do you know that trip that we are going to, can I bring my DSLR and take photos?” I was asked because, I have the responsibility of pupil privacy. I left him with no answer and told him to come back in 1 week. Let me explain, A year 9 class is due in 2 months to go to France to see what happened in WW1 and a student on that trip wanted to bring his DSLR along with him. What’d you guys think about this?

I used EaseUS Data Recovery in the past and it’s been great! The trial limits the data recovery to 2GB. I find it better than other Data Recovery Software. Hope it helps [emoji56] -

Hello all, I have deployed a test machine which has Azure MFA and Windows RDS configured. When I attempt to RDS into the server via RemoteApp as a teacher, I get this message. I have used ZeroSSL and imported it into IIS, Add the untrusted certificate to my trusted root and selected the ZeroSSL certificate in Deployment Properties. When I go back to View Certificate on the first image, it shows this. I have been pulling my hair out trying to solve this issue.

Who will still be running on Win7 and Server 2008 after Jan 2020?
oododkodkdo replied to bodminman's topic in Windows
The machines that will still run Windows 7 is our 4 EPOS Systems. We think it’s just a waste of money for a Windows 10 Licences. We’ve already upgraded our web server from 2008 R2 to 2016. -
