Don't bother with Stonehenge, it really is just a field with some stones in a circle with a new gift shop.... If the weather is nice and you like that sort of thing, Stourhead Gardens is lovely. Also a hill that is famous for bread that is only 20miles down the road... a dalek lives around there also Apparently one of the lads who cycled down the hill in the ads went on to drum for All About Eve and Del Amitri. There is an ancient earthworks nearby that (IIRC) is a free walk around, though.

Dos_Box Posted April 7, 2019 Author Posted April 7, 2019 What times does the day start and end? It's open at 09:00 for attendees (coffee and snacks etc.) and kicks off at 09:30 all being well. The day finishes at 17:00. Now, off to paint some masonry!
