Anyways better get back on topic. I am there Thursday (until about 3pm) All day Friday (for @witch hugs) and I am there on Saturday (with my housemate in tow :-) )

I'm coming on Friday but it hardly seems worth it.

The IT teacher booked the tickets which means we arrive into Euston at 10:45 and then it is 45 minutes travel from there.

We then have our train back at 2:45pm, needing an hour to get to station makes us leave BETT at 1:45pm.

 

All that travel to be at the show for about an hour whilst people are having lunch.

 

Why not change the booking, or if you can't do that, simply tell the finance team that the day will be pointless based on the current booking and to let you book some new tickets.

Change of plan from my vote, I was going to be going on Friday, but want to be home for Arsenal v Man U so now will be attending on Wednesday. I'd love the opportunity to catch up with anyone and have a chat over a coffee.

We've got winter lights in Canary Wharf on Thur and Fri night myself, @robk on both nights and @witch on Friday with us, @elsiegee40 will join on Thursday I think it was as well so always something to do

Yep a group did last year if I recall (I didn't attend as I'd been the weekend before as I lived in London at the time and had an emergency work trip during BETT... )

 

This year I'll help run as I now live back north (and no emergency work trips!) and need to see the shiny as it looks good from what friends have posted [emoji7]

Not going to complain about that to be honest - drive-by scanning means that I keep mine in my pocket anyway! Happy to give my email to anyone I'm interested in talking to!

A "friend" of mine used developer tools to change the barcode and printed a proper badge and a fake badge. He only lets people he wants to chat to scan his real badge. [emoji23]
