indiegirl Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 Yep, in here too, but trying to use my hols up before March too. Official line is that hols should be taken in school hols, the NM here is taking the whole of March off to go to India... a whole month on my own... bliss...
tosca925 Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 Sitting at home, week off from hell. I have loads of holiday to take as well, i could do woith being in as i have loads to do but i am still using last years holiday. I was allowed tocarry 15 days over because we are so under staffed. My hols run from Sept to Sept and i am still using my last lot up. After this week i will have 3 days of my last allocation left. I am off every holiday now till the summer and i will only work 8 days of the six weeks as i plan to go to OZ. I will not be carrying any mor eover again after the look of disgust when i told them i would not be in. They have forgot that i worked all last 6 weeks summer holiday to get the 120 new pc's up and running and all the new desks fitted with security cages. Take your holidays as soo as you can.
Guest richard Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 Off all this week and still have another 3 days to use before April as I have been told that I cannot roll any holiday over this year.
beeswax Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 I am off every holiday now till the summer and i will only work 8 days of the six weeks as i plan to go to OZ. this means an email from australia once a week you realize? we need to know. beeswax
ConTheITGuy Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 Half-terms next week - I'm off. Seems I work less since I was made full time in Septemeber than when I was term-time only! (Holidays to use up, etc...) Andy
Disease Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 I am in this week, got to finish kitting out the New Art Rooms. I am however in by myself as Jake is off on Paternity Leave for a month. Congratulations to Jake, his wife and the new addition to his family. This morning I have put in the New Welcome Screen System for reception. Thats only been hanging over for 5 months. This afternoon I am goin to install and clone the new HOY pc's.
linuxgirlie Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 In this week but only Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, got 50 computers to build so will be busy!!
Diello Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 Trump New DC, new Exchange server, new SIMS server, complete network audit, testing, and mapping, two new mounted projectors, new IP schema, upgrade to 10mbit bband, installing a new server rack, O, and cleaning the office. I'll be buggered if i'll get all that done! O, and new backbone, and site-wide wireless going in over Easter... ... what's a holiday again?
john Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 What a busy lot you are, although i got new windows going in, so clearing out the office that day, stores to audit, spagheti junction to tidy for the 3rd time in as many months, re-ris all my IT machines, you know, just the usual stuff. Projectors and Boards fitted this week by us, so none of that in the holidays.
webman Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 XP SP2 to install, RM SR5 to install, workstations to rebuild & test for update/application compatability, rebuild whole site (~250 machines), begin installing the dreaded KS3 ICT Pilot, arrange contractor for rewiring an office. And move house the weekend before
