It's that time of year again, when Amazon list a whole raft of deals for Prime subscribers :)

As usual we have created this thread to allow members to let each other know about things they have found which will have us reaching for our cards and hopefully grabbing a bargain.

The sale starts at midday on Monday the 16th and ends at midnight the 17th.

Listing page: Amazon Prime Day 2018

If you do see a deal please post a link to it on this thread so we can all see it, even if it's not something you want, but you think will be of interest to others.

Also worth noting that if you go via Smile.Amazon.co.uk you can donate to charity for no extra cost to you, you choose the charity in your profile you want to support, even small local charity can sign up to be a partner.

@ZeroHour not sure if you can make the forum mod amazon urls to be smile. instead but charity giving without any effort is a good win!

I'll be looking for a cheap Chinese phone (high level cheap, not basic cheap!) and an Endoscope if anyone spots them!

Why not cut out the box abusing middlemen and buy direct from China ? Aliexpress or Bangood is the place for this kind of stuff.

Yes been looking, but had a bad experience with AliExpress previously on delivery, so not confident! Also the "10-25 days" shipping puts me off!

I've been ordering from Aliexpress for years, I tend to find if the value is over £5 then the item is flown and arrives in about 7 days, if not it's about 2 weeks.

I've never had an issue getting a refund for any reason although I am a Diamond member so they are expedited for me.

why are these sales always mid month ages away from payday ? Steam is the same too, always horrible timing, although I suppose it saves me cash with the timing on these events too at the same time.

is that UE Boom 2 the big or little boom. I had one of the larger ones a few years back as the quality was so much better than Sonos or BOSS, but killed it while camping.

UPDATE - Looks like the smaller one

Anyone sees a good deal on a Nintendo Switch, holla at me, yo!

If not I'll probably wait for the inevitable Let's Go bundles.

Wow, that's a stupidly good deal.. Mega tempted.

A Switch bundle @£329.99 inc. Super Mario Odyssey and a pro controller. That is not bad at all. They usually do bundles in the Amazon sales rather than discount just the console.

If you need a large capacity SSD it might be worth keeping an eye on the prices of Crucial's MX500 SSDs. I managed to get a 2TB drive from Amazon.es last week for £249.84 (12p per GB!!!).

Amazon.es? Maybe I should learn some Spanish...

I don't know any Spanish either. :D

The buttons are always in the same place on the various Amazon websites so I just guessed what they did. :)
