Oh yeah. Amazon Prime Day feels very much like a "Let's clear out last year's model." day, but last year's model is still good, especially at discount prices.

true seen a few nice tvs i wouldnt mind but to replace the tv i need to replace my amp as well (as that isnt 4k compatible) and some bluetooth headphones but the "cheap" ones dont look comfy and im not spending £100+ on something that might be handy

That Samsung SSD is tempting. It's £90 in a few other places so not massively cheaper compared to some but still a good deal. Sods law with this right inbetween 2 paydays, it's a nogo for me but at least I know I'd only have to spend another 6 pounds.

Get these- https://www.amazon.co.uk/LINDY-BNX-60-Bluetooth-Cancelling-Headphones-Black/dp/B01AAGIKCI/ref=sr_1_1?m=A2OAJ7377F756P&s=warehouse-deals&ie=UTF8&qid=1531744412&sr=8-1&keywords=lindy+bnx-60

I have pair and they are awesome for the price (seriously, read the reviews) plus you get AptX and noise cancelling. There is also an extra 20% off at checkout for Prime Day according to Amazon!

ive never been sure about noise cancelling to me it sounds like i triumph of usability over common sense i.e ive seen cyclists using them which to me is just about the stupedest use of tech i can think of

Ditto. I use noise-cancelling at home on the PC, but regular in-ear headphones so I can hear my surroundings when walking to work etc (as in, sit behind the tragus/antitragus in-ear, not 'goes into your ear canal and hurts like a :censored:' in-ear)

Using headphones of any sort while you're riding a bike is insanely stupid imo.

I think the main use for these is on public transport where there is a lot of background noise from engine noise, track noise and other people. Or possibly in a noisy office.

You can turn it off, it's optional y'know ;)

1TB Crucial MX500 SSD for €165.99 from Amazon.es. That roughly works out to £146.84 (a saving of £32.64 compared to Amazon's UK price of £179.48)

Link: www.amazon.es/dp/B077SF8KMG

Not seeing the deal from the link - are they short lived?

Most of the deals are. :(

Logitech MX Master AMZ £37.99 @ Amazon

Probably the best mouse you can get IMO!

It is a very good mouse but this:

Enhanced power management: Up to 40 days of power on single charge; you can get enough power for a full day of usage in only 4 minutes, with no downtime while recharging

is pure horse manure. I get four to five days out of mine but it is used for eight hours a day.
