Garacesh Posted July 16, 2018 Posted July 16, 2018 Amazon Prime Day deals 'not what they seem' - BBC News not to mention if its anything like last year the vast majority of stuff on sale comes under the heading crud we found at the back of the warehouse nobody wants normally Oh yeah. Amazon Prime Day feels very much like a "Let's clear out last year's model." day, but last year's model is still good, especially at discount prices.

synaesthesia Posted July 16, 2018 Posted July 16, 2018 That Samsung SSD is tempting. It's £90 in a few other places so not massively cheaper compared to some but still a good deal. Sods law with this right inbetween 2 paydays, it's a nogo for me but at least I know I'd only have to spend another 6 pounds.

I use noise-cancelling at home on the PC, but regular in-ear headphones so I can hear my surroundings when walking to work etc (as in, sit behind the tragus/antitragus in-ear, not 'goes into your ear canal and hurts like a ' in-ear)
Norphy Posted July 16, 2018 Posted July 16, 2018 Using headphones of any sort while you're riding a bike is insanely stupid imo. I think the main use for these is on public transport where there is a lot of background noise from engine noise, track noise and other people. Or possibly in a noisy office.

Norphy Posted July 17, 2018 Posted July 17, 2018 (edited) Logitech MX Master AMZ £37.99 @ Amazon Probably the best mouse you can get IMO! It is a very good mouse but this: Enhanced power management: Up to 40 days of power on single charge; you can get enough power for a full day of usage in only 4 minutes, with no downtime while recharging is pure horse manure. I get four to five days out of mine but it is used for eight hours a day. Edited July 17, 2018 by Norphy I accidentally a word
